Off topic but what’s the story behind this pic? Was he sad or reflecting what he had to overcome winning the finals?

I can't even imagine what was going through their minds during their final moments on that helicopter :snoop::to:

IMO, unless the pilot started freaking out, they all probably looked at Kobe and got somewhat relieved because he was probably calm. There was article about how he took Pelinka on chopper and had pilot do crazy stunts to freak him out.
My question is why didn’t they just decide to drive given the fog? Why even take that risk? It seems like the equivalent of riding motorcycle in the rain...RIP Kobe

Gary Payton used to do this move where he’d back you down with the ball in his left hand in the paint, and then on the bounce and in one motion he’d rotate his body and catch it with his right hand. His shoulders would be past you already and he’d have a bee-line right to the basket. My real hoopers know what I’m talking about. :wow:
