This is dope

low key the respect everyone had for kobe that none of this even came out before, like i've been reading stories all week how kobe would do this and that for charities, that he would be at the local park in his neighborhood shooting hoops and you could just walk up to him and say hey kobe, that he would be at his local starbucks and he would just talk to folks, or he would go to his local catholic church for mass two days a week. THe respect everyone had for kobe is cray

Real talk.

Even with being one of Kobe's biggest fans, I didn't know how much work he was doing charity wise to help others. All I saw was the assassin on the court. He really knew how to turn the switch though and become a great humanitarian when he wasn't playing basketball. Plus what makes me respect his off-court charity work even more is the fact he wasn't trying to get attention for it. Being Kobe Bryant he could've had media at all these events so that the public would know what he's doing so he could get praise. Instead he kept the good works he was doing for others private. And now after his passing all those that he helped are finally shedding light on the good work he was doing.

Truly an inspirational man in every way.

I honestly feel like this will never feel real to me...
i think i'm coming to grips with it, but i've been avoiding 90% of kobe-related stuff outside of this thread. the feelings rush back if i dont

even tho i'm a mav fan for life and talked my shyt about kobe and the lakers when he was alive, cant deny the impact that he had on the world.

My favorite Kobe game ever.

Kobe's scored more points loads of other times. But this game is my favorite of his all-time because of all the highlight plays he made. Kobe had Kevin Harlan and the other announcer going crazy the entire game. The Garden was cheering for him over the Knicks. He was on a totally another level that night and season. Never seen a player wow audiences like Kobe.

In my opinion the 2002-03 season was his peak individually. His skill set was complete by this point. And his athleticism was at its absolute peak. He was the perfect basketball player that year. I would put this version of Kobe against any player in NBA history.

Brehs in here adding numbers making connections trying to find meaning out of it...
:unimpressed:
KOBE + SHAQ = 4 letters + 4 letters = 8 = gotta be something spiritual, mayne...:whoo:

Lower Merion HS = 13 Letters = oh shyt!

Vanessa Bryant = 13 Letters = cot damn!

The square root of the circumference of the distance that the helicopter travelled divided by Kobe's high school jersey number multiplied by 24 raised to the 8th power = 2020 = oh fukk, this must be a sign!!!

I know its over the top. Dudes talking about God saw we didn't learn lessons after Nipsey's violent death so he went after someone bigger in Kobe. I mean... :snoop: So if we don't "learn" from Kobe, God is gonna keep on killing famous black men more famous than the last one?

Oh now we didn't learn our lesson :francis: I guess Lebron and Obama are next to die...

People are not being taken away from us from divine intervention. They are simply regular humans just like me and you. The way Michael, Whitney, Prince and Kobe died are ways that any human can die
