Is there anything Kobe wasn't great at? :mjcry:
It's amazing how much he accomplished in 41 years.

Is there anything he couldnt do? He spoke different languages, was an author, a champion, a teacher, a mentor, a business man, a story teller, a coach, a father, husband and had a comedian sense of humor, he just excelled at them all like a super hero.

Crazy thing is he was already mythological in life. Think about it. He was in the news almost everyday since his retirement. Whether it was winning an Oscar, writing New York Times best sellers, or mentoring current athletes, there was always a Kobe story we were talking about. nikkas used to get mad at me for posting new threads on him every other day when for example Saquon Barkley wrote a tribute to Kobe about how he influences him or about how young NFL QBs like Dwayne Haskins were patterning their leadership style after Kobe. My response was always blame these other athletes for having Kobe on their minds all the time and making him newsworthy years after his retirement.

All his death has done is magnify the mythology that already existed while he was alive.

One thing that helps me get peace from this situation is that he knew he was beloved by the people

That's one thing that bothers me about MJs passing. Folks was trying to tear him down for years but then when he passed, cue the fake tears.

Not necessarily religious but people are already going overboard as it is now. People need to start worrying about their own families and souls now.
Making them saints ain't gonna bring no one back. Let God handle the rest.
I understand

But I suck at math:damn:
Don't gotta be good at math. Just gotta open your 3rd eye. I was mourning heavy. But after I seen that video of Kobe talking about the afterlife. The premonitions surrounding it. T Mac saying Kobe wanted to die young to be immortalized. I had to go digging deeper. Kobe was definitely in tune with his energy and the ways of the world. Same with Nipsey. I'm not sad anymore. Kobe knew his time was limited here. That's why he made every second count.

The whole Mamba mentality mantra is based on opening your 3rd eye. Kobe wasn't afraid of death. He was very much at peace with it. The only way to honor him is to follow the path he made for us. That's why I'm not sad anymore. Kobe fulfilled his purpose here. The only thing we should be afraid of is not fulfilling our own.
