The fact that we're really talking about Kobe Bryant in the past tense is nuts. It's still too surreal to process so it hasn't really settled in yet. It's like looking outside and noticing that a mountain or a skyscraper that was there the day before is just... gone.

Yeah I randomly googled him and his wiki came up. Seeing “Kobe Bryant was an American basketball player” the bus death date and age just doesn’t sit well.

I'm not religious but I believe in god. These recent deaths have me really questioning my faith. I just dont understand. If god wants to call someone why like this? Why like nip? Why not die peacefully in ur sleep?

Did you see the chopper in peices on the mountain? That's thick steal and metal..imagine what happened to their bodies?

Why?
I don’t get it either. Especially somebody who could do more good alive then dead.

could it be that afterlife is better than here on earth? I don’t know. Makes no sense
They almost ended up playing together before KG was traded to the Celtics.

Bynum and Odom for Garnett in 2007. Dr. Buss had a handshake agreement.

:jbhmm:

Still remember the 1998 All-Star game and them exchanging oops. Classic.
Yea Kg called Kobe asking about the lakers. Kobe didn’t lie to KG about his opinion on the front office even though he knew we needed KG. So KG chose Boston.

My bro told me this tonight

Imagine if Gianna had died but Kobe lived. It would have broke his spirit

My aunt who is a physic said their connection span multiple life times as they were together in a previous life. It wasnt no ordinary connection between him and his daughter.

Norfeast groovin…
With birds I'll share this lonely view :mjcry:

Wouldve been nice if they performed Under the Bridge. Always loved how it was a beautiful ode to LA. Feel like it would’ve been a nice description of Kobe’s love for LA and the city’s embracing of him. Like if nothin else was good, at least Kobe and LA always had each other.

after everything, i still think this my favorite kobe moment

:wow:

it literally was kobe in a nutshell. dude carried that tired ass super team till his wheels literally fell off, and he went out to shoot the free throws when most dudes would be in the training room. dude was one of a kind.

he retired exactly 3 years later.

this was essentially the end of his career and he went out like the dude who taught me to love basketball.

:wow:

Honestly these foul shots more legendary to me than MJ shooting the eyes closed foul shots.
