I have one of those also :russ:
Broke nikkas mentality the right watch holds more value than any mass produced vehicle.
By your logic I should wear only 1 dollar white tees and clothes from good will.
You stick to eating rice and bread every day :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

But you can drive a watch. Buy shyt you need..not shyt you dont. Nobody uses watches any more. 10 years ago I had a rather impressive watch collection...but now I wear one and feel impractical cause I have access to the time 24/7 either in my car..in public..or at work.. .and thats not including my phone

Just buy a good knockoff. It's not like anyone is going to ask you to take it off and inspect it.

With 50K to spare on vanity items, I'd rather get custom clothing, or even a custom watch made. While I understand the value of a status symbol, something about spending that kind of money on something that isn't even unique seems like a bit of a waste.

Also no one likes going to a conference where one of the key note speakers is some guy constantly adjusting his Rolex, to make sure everyone knows he has a Rolex. It might be attractive for dedicated gold diggers, but women with any substance aren't impressed by that kind of grandstanding.

It seems to me that OP is trying to justify buying a Rollie to use as a status symbol. Like, see, look at me, I have one too, I belong.

If that’s what you want to do then do it. But many of us aren’t like that, you can see that with all the responses in here.
