Knicks should have kept David Lee.

Lee is gonna be in the top 10 in MVP votes. I know it's Melo's,Lebron or Durants to lose but Lee is gonna get some honorable mentions. Look at his fukking game logs for the last month.

How can yall say Amare had a MVP worthy season 2 years ago yet disregard what Lee is doing right now in a much better conference?

That's it bruh..

:owerd:

are you really trying to tell Knicks fans that we dont know what goes down with our own team? There are constant instances of GOOD players who either used us to drive the price up for other teams but never intended to come here and players who never gave a first thought to coming here in the first place. I USED to be one of those Knicks fans who thought players would be lining up to come to NYC only to realize that our laughingstock status was a barrier that most couldnt get over...much like the Clippers

That's it bruh. Embrace the truth, yall got a top 3 market and nikkas wanna be there. Yall might can't compete with Miami and L.A due to weather and quality of life (plus Florida doesn't have state income taxes) but yall are ahead of Chicago and everywhere else. Yall can convince yourself that Melo wasn't coming unless you gave Amare 100 mill but when that nikka comes back yall gon be begging a team to take him. Meanwhile David Lee is creeping in the mvp convo. Last week Steph was ranked 10th on the mvp ladder on nba.com. This week Lee is gonna be higher than that.
Well since you want to turn this thread into that...who do you know that 100% WANTED to come to the knicks in that terrible situation they were in? I mean we ARE a top 3 market right? Surely there are numerous articles you can find for us on the internet of basketball stars saying they wanted to come here. Don't give me hypotheticals about how Melo was going to come here because of La La and all that other nonsense. Which scenario seems more plausible to you? Melo going to Brooklyn to play with an all-star pg and an emerging center in Brook Lopez...or come to the knicks and play with David Lee

You even had Mike D'Antoni's incompetent ass saying he regrets coming here. Seriously dog you are one of those cats who watches the NBA, but really does not pay attention to all the details. I have been a knicks fan my whole life...the organization has been run like shyt since the Patrick Ewing days and finally appear to have a solid team that the city can be proud of. Funny thing about it all? I truly feel that if the nets never moved to Brooklyn the biggest concern for Dolan was still to build a solid enough team that can just make it to the playoffs to get those extra ticket sales.

You are a casual NBA fan who thinks he knows what he is talking about, but in reality you don't know much of how this game works. Cats like you are the annoying ones in this forum because you are not even trolling...you really believe the shyt you are typing

David Lee is now a serious MVP candidate in your eyes? OK man, whatever :snoop:

Chicago was waiting for Lebron to make his decision. They didn't have enough cake for two superstars.

NY had a shyt load of capspace in 1996 when players like MJ, Barkley, Kenny Anderson, Reggie Miller, etc were all free agents and were all linked/rumored to being Knicks.

We ended up w/ Allan Houston & Chris Childs that summer :wtb:

And they traded Mase for LJ that year, too.

:laff: nikka said david lee....mvp consideration HAHAHA....not just making the all star game...mvp talks :laff:
If Steph Curry was ranked 10th in mvp voting according to nba.com then why can't Lee be ranked higher when he's having a better season and carrying the team?

You can't compare your history to the Clippers. Donald Sterling is notorious for being cheap. You can't sign stars by being cheap. Now that the nba has revenue sharing he's not so cheap. The last time yall had cap space before 2010 Lil Bow Wow was riding a big wheel. Yall got the Garden bruh, yall got Madison Avenue. Yall the are the Mecca. You probably can't get the top guy you want but you can get top tier free agents. Are you honestly telling me that if Minny had Amare and Melo that Tyson would sign there because he wanted to play with them that bad :childplease: Kevin Love is a better rebounding Amare and Rubio is a top 3 pg in terms of setting up his teammates but nobody is gonna okay a trade to play with them if they had any leverage like CP3 did. Why didn't Dwight put OKC on his wish list of places to go? OKC had a amnesty and Serge Ibaka to get Dwight to OKC. That nikka didn't put them on his list because he wanted to get to a large market like LA or NY. It ain't about guys wanting to play together, it's about where they play. Talk to me when a big 3 unite in a small market.
