Unnecessary condescension. Anyhow, the reason the Act passing is significant is because it was a step in securing rights for Black people that were guaranteed under the Constitution. Regardless of how long it takes, each journey begins with one step.

I listed the Reconstruction Klan official book. It was White Supremacy. What else would it be?

The purpose of White Supremacy was to not allow any advancement, any rights or anything allowed or for White folks --- which was everything to Black people.

Both Klans were extremely violent - Forrest just became the official face on the national scale. But, in the South - each Klan chapter and group did their own thing.

The Klan first emerged after the Civil War in an effort to intimidate Southern blacks to stay out of politics and to exploit their labor. ​

It wasn't trolling. IS Trolling killing, raping/violated women/children/men and terrorizing them daily. Cause that is what Reconstruction Klan was doing.

They were Confederates who lost and did everything in their power to stop Blacks from citizenship, rights and being paid. They wasn't slavery back and all their tactics were to scare or kill into submission.

These men were coming back from the CW. They were pissed their family members died, their enslaved were USCT and fighting against them for their freedom -- and that they had to pay them and treat them as humans not property.

The original 6 men of the KKK were Confederate soliders, generals and prior enslavers -- who were still violent and promoted and engaged in terrorism against Black people.

Thousands of Klansmen statewide used acts of intimidation and violence to oppose the expansion of civil liberties among freedpeople that took place during Reconstruction, to assert authority over black laborers, to defend white supremacy, and to eliminate the Republican Party. Many Klan members were also motivated by the mistaken idea that violence would restore the South to its plantation-era society, an ideology known as the Lost Cause.​
