Missing Link is still releasing before KH4 which I'm assuming will be what they use to fully flesh out these new characters. But the mobile games are (and already have been) replacing the handheld games.
Naw there's too many loose threads after KH3 for this to be any type of reboot. It's a "New Arc" but this new arc is just bringing to focus the side story that was being told through the mobile games for the past 7 years so you still need all of that info to know what's happening narrative wise lol.
But if it's anything like KH3 they'll shove all of this into a 5 hr block at the end of the game and the other 15 hours will be Sora reenacting Disney films lol.

The Missing Link beta came out a while ago, so I’m guessing it’s still getting released at some point. Even then, there’s still a shytload of answers they’re going to have to give in explain how a lot of those Org XIII members and Ven are still alive since they were actual characters during that time. That’s not even getting to where the Foretellers have been all this time and where is Ava.
Honestly, they should have just picked one route either the Yozora shyt or UX route and stuck to it rather than mixing them both together.
Funny enough, Luxu is probably the easiest storyline reason they could answer.

I don't know why you expecting all this shyt to be answered in KH4. Nomura said this a whole new arc. Some of the shyt with Yozora/Foretellers/MoM we probably wont know until 2030
KH3 was supposed to be closure and instead Nomura made new questions for the next 10 years. I fully expect Verum Rex with a playable Yozora to be a thing at some point so yea. I'm already of the mindset anything to do with Yozora is a long term thing.

The Yozora/MOM storyline can wait as that's storylines for the future. I agree with all of that. This is the same series that has canon scenes in a musical game. Nomura expects everyone to be as wrapped up into the story as he is lol.
I'm saying there's not gonna be any type of closure to the current story when KH4 ends. Whatever this ongoing "UX/Yozora" story is it's still gonna be going on once KH4 ends. I honestly hope Sora don't make it back home until like KH6 or some shyt lol.
they realistically should've axed Sora at the end of 3. but they failed to create another popular character.. i guess Aqua wasnt tracking and they shoehorned Yozora in too late. So now we got this Goku looking dude still kicking around, no idea how old he is, just out here. they're gonna have to throw the kitchen sink at 4 in order to please everyone. which they can definitely do but i guess we'll see.
All these games and they still haven't said where the fukk his mama at.
Out of that Wayfinder trio, Ven is probably the only one that still has a story to tell with his connection to UX and the nameless star.
They should have leaned into the Roxas connection and made him the main character going forward.
