I think it will answer a lot of the questions that people have had, while leaving a some open for future games. Hopefully they will answer the contents of the black box since it was heavily mentioned, but never explained what was in it.

those 3 things i will need
2 of those 3 will be answered with the DLC but the Yozora one will more than likely be saved for the next game. The one question I want answered is what happened to Zack from BBS? I interpreted it that Sephiroth “killed” him (black feather), but never fully explained or even mentioned again.
i doubt they even touch that. idk if cloud will be in it, much less zack

Supposedly there will be some free extra content, but I doubt that it’d be much. I think it’s an extra keyblade and like 2 other things I believe.
Hopefully some secret bosses like they did with the data battles for KH 2 FM.

Critical mode, 2 new keyblades(oathkeeper and oblivion) and fast pass mode(basically debug mode) will be free. Everything else u have to buy.

It's been 4 years since they introduced that black box. I hope they finally show whats in it with the dlc but it wouldn't surprise me if they left that reveal for Unchained X. Espcially with the rumors that it's ending with the next 2 updates.

I always thought this was clear. We seen exactly what he did to save the other 6 guardians. Why would we think saving Kairi is gonna be any different? Sora found Kairi's reaper killed it and saved her.
It's just that Killing Kairi's reaper was the "last straw" in his abuse of using the power of waking and thats what made him "disappear"
It does look like this dlc will touch on what happened but in my mind it wasn't anything that needed explanation since they clearly showed us how he saved everyone else.

As far as "Yozora" I've been watching the new trailer back to back for about a half hour. And it seems to me that dark sky world at the end is another "The Final World" Perhaps this is Yozora's final world., The water on the ground. The clear sky above. Everything is identical to "The final world" with the only difference being that it's dark out
In case people don't know. Sora=Sky, Yozora=Dark Sky. And then u have the theories that MoM is a Alternate Universe Sora, Combine that with both Sora and Yozora quoting KH1 opening line.... Yea..........................
Verum rex world i think will be something for the next game. But it's clear with the Unchained X updates that the "game central"(wreck it ralph) is a sort of hub for different worlds. This will most likely connect to the reason Ven and the others was able to come to the most recent "Worldline" But again this is KH4 or whatever the next game is terriotry so i highly doubt we get any concrete answers on that yet.
Stuff regarding the ending yes i agree should of been in the main game.(Basically any additions to the keyblade graveyard portion and kairi stuff)
But stuff like new bosses and the new secret scenario with Yozora? All of that is standard "final mix" additions
This dlc is actually adding MORE then KHFM and KHBBSFM and those games had to be rebought at full price. Were getting more for less here when u compare it to other final mixes.

I’m rather ehhh on spending $30 for the Re:Mind DLC especially after spending $15 for the FFXV Royal Pack and what we received in return.

Their biggest mistake was not making KH 0.2 the opening for KH 3.
That as well as the backcover movie wasn’t enough to justify charging full price for a DDD remaster.

This as well. I see why they did it. They didn't have enough to justify reselling DDD at full price and they wanted to give us 'something" after they had to restart kh3 when they changed engines.
But yea i agree having 0.2 as the opening to KH3 like it was intended to would of done wonders for the pacing of KH3 which is a huge complaint of the game.
I literally haven't touched this since I beat it the week of release.
