Kairi will have her own "Roxas" section that will double serve as the tutorial of the game and explain Kairi's and Lea's training so they don't just get shoehorned into the final 7/13 battle

Young Xehanort will have his own "Roxas" section that will double serve as the tutorial of the game and explain the events of how Ansem time traveled to the pass and picked up all the norts to present time.

I'll bet anything it's one of those 2.

It's not confirmed but it's a no brainer. Just like a Frozen world isn't confirmed but everyone knows its in.

Nomura has already said were gonna learn more about YX backstory. YX is WAY more plausible to have a playable section then either Roxas or Ven.

But im betting on Kairi. The game has to have a tutorial section. Why not have it be with people who are ACTUALLY KEYBLADE TRAINING?

Yeah I'd be cool with 10 worlds if they are all expansive.

Hopefully it's like 3 old worlds and 7 new worlds.

0.2 was the basis and that was basically one big world made up of parts of three worlds.


So far we have:
Big Hero 6
Tangled
Olympus
Toy Story
Twilight Town

We will definitely get Frozen. Not too sure after that. Don't think we will get Star Wars although Nomura is big fan so anything can happen.

Wreck it Ralph is possible. Maybe Wall-E.

It's crazy since there have been so many Disney movies released in the past decade.

KH1 has 13 worlds

COM has 13

KH2 has 15 (including Timeless River and Space Paranoids)

BBS has 11, 12 if you include the Mirage Arena.

358 has 8

Coded and DDD have 7.

KH3 needs to have about 10 in my opinion.

Lightning and Noctis are both Nomura's creations. They are gonna be in. I'll bet anything on it. Just like i'll bet anything that Frozen is in. I said the same thing about Toy Story years ago. Star wars is the only toss up for me. The fact they haven't introduced a FF character pass 10 means nothing. The world ends with you was the focus for the cameos in DDD(More of Nomura's creations) and thats the only "main" title between BBS and 3.

Sora's training is going back to Olympus to meet up with Herc and Phil. That's the very first world we go to in KH3. It's already been confirmed. It's why we only see him in his KH2 clothes during Olympus. Most likely he'll go there then go back to Yensid. Yensid will see he has his power back. Grant him title of "Master" and the faries will give him his new clothes. He'll then go on his adventure to find the "Key to unlock hearts"

Another reason YX could be the second character is it's already confirmed the conversation between Young Master Xehanort and Young Eraqus is the opening cutscene. This is probably where we are going to get YX backstory. 2-3 hour playable YX section at the very beginning is very likely.

And then yet ANOTHER reason is Aqua's section in 0.2 was originally the opening for KH3. It got too long so they just released it separately. So in the very early stages Aqua was going to be playable in KH3. Now her story is already told. If Ven was planned to be playable im sure he would of been involved in Aqua's story.


But Kairi's keyblade training being playable makes the most sense to me. As we would be able to see first hand how she got to be strong enough to hold her own with Sora and Riku. Just shoehorning her into the final battle(Because we already know she's one of the 7 lights) with nothing proving to us that she got stronger other then (She used the hyperbolic time chamber from Merlin) would piss off alot of people. Including me.


And about the worlds. I doubt they are counting stuff like (Yensid's tower Twilight Town) as a World. Yet we know most of these worlds HAVE to be in just for the sake of the story.

Keyblade Graveyard


Those are 5 worlds that are 100% going to be in. If they count those as their own worlds then there are only 2-3 disney worlds left to be revealed(And thats including BH6 and the inevitable Frozen reveal.) I highly doubt thats the case.

Im not worried about the number of worlds. It'll be fine.

While the safe bet is a 2017 release. It's very possible KH3 can see a holiday 2016 release. It depends on when FFXV is actually releasing.

All signs points to a 2016 release.

Im more excited about the post game. Imagine dlc bosses like thanos/darth vadar etc.

At that time 2.8 wasn't announced. Also Nomura himself said that while he would love to bring DDD to consoles he doesn't think he would have the resources to pull it off since they are working on KH3.

With all the info we have now im betting on spring 2018. Everyone thinks Holiday 2018 but they just said the game is gonna have less Disney worlds then KH2. KH2 had 12 Disney worlds. So KH3 probably will have 9-10. Meaning we already know half of them

No way they have enough material to carry the promotional train all the way until Holiday of next year. This game is gonna have 2 more trailers at max. One at TGS or Jump festa that gives us (Winter 2018) and then the "Launch trailer" At d23 japan next Feb where they gonna hit us with that March 2018 date

I wish the Toy Story world went along the 3rd films plot. It's my least favorite but it would make an exciting arc for Sora and co. The daycare, Bonnie's room, Andy's room and finally a Lotso boss battle leading up to the furnace scene.
