King Of The Hill Revival Eyed at Fox

King of the Hill may be making a royal return to Fox.

The network has had “preliminary conversations” with series creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels about reviving the ‘toon, Fox Chairman Dana Walden told reporters Tuesday at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. The series originally ran on Fox from January 12, 1997 to September 13, 2009.

How are they going to explain Luanne though?

Well King of the Hill was one of the more realistic cartoons, instead of being totally episodic it had an actual timeline, characters aged and progressed from season to season. Its been 8 years so her voice wouldnt have to sound exactly the same, or if they refuse to recast, they could just write her off like with live action shows.
