Ayo - real talk, King Of Queens might be the REALEST sitcom of all-time.

Like, Doug be goin' through real nicca chit.

For example:

- the ep where Deacon is separated from Kelly, but Kelly wants to get back.
Deacon don't know, so he gets a date with that BAAAD BAAAD flight attendant.
Doug has to decide if he should tell Deacon about what Kelly said, or let Deac smash
the flight attendant on the side one good time.

- the one where Doug is being nice to the ugly chick that works at the bowling alley
because everybody was clownin' on her, but she think he was trying to holla and makes a scene like he's creepy.
Then he tries to convince everybody he wasn't tryina holla at her.

- the ep where a new black dude starts workin' at IPS, and he and Deacon become cool,
so Doug feels some kind of way because he feels like he's losin' his black friend.

It might not be the best, but it's real chit goin' dyne on that show.

Carey looked so God damn sexy in the earlier seasons my gawd :noah:

True, true...I fuccs wit' Fat Carrie too, doe.

Lemme break it down 1x...

It's like, hell yeah - Slim Carrie was bad, errbody know that.
But in real life, it's hella broads that fall off like she did in the series. That's part of the realness of the show.

But I mean...if I met Fat Carrie and I never saw her as Slim Carrie, I would be like:
"yeeeah, she hella thick i'd splack that for tha 'hood...", knamtalmbat? It just depends on what point you get 'em at. Real talk.

I kinda miss the older sitcoms.
As corny as they were, those shows would have some kind of moral at the end of them.

No doubt it was cheesy, but at least there was a lesson.

These shows today seem to be about the idiot guy and how his woman comes to the rescue as the smart/responsible one.
I guess there's nothing wrong with it but something about it just struck me the wrong way.

So that's why I don't really gravitate toward these newer shows that play to that....like Everybody Loves Raymond or King of Queens or whatever...

The sitcom genre is complete shyt right now. Black-ish is cool and that's about it.
