Yo is this the one with the light so you can read in the dark?

I have one but I can't read in the dark, might upgrade soon. Using it constantly, really like it but its a shame its shyt for comics.

The paper white can be used in the dark and looks fantastic for manga. I read one punch man on it and it looks exactly like the printed copy. The screen is impressive.

Just copped one for $81 via gift card and being on sale for $99. Love how it looks just like fukking paper. I'm used to reading on my smartphone and that thing cannot compare to how this looks. Going through school in the last couple years made me hate reading ebooks because I had to do it via laptop. The kindle paperwhite is changing my view on ebooks

It definitely changed my view on e-books entirely.
I still use it to read nightly. I finished the social books that I wanted to read (malcolm x, the case of nat turner, miseducation of the negro, and many more) now I'm back on my classic literature wave. I'm finishing the three musketeers and next I want to read Don Quixote.

I used to have the OG Kindle 4 but I gave it to my mum or something when I got a tablet last year. Obviously this looks way superior

Can you still hook it up to a computer and transfer pdfs?

Yeah. I was having lunch at a restaurant earlier and was reading on mine while waiting for my food. The manager I guess like did a double take when she realized it wasn't some little tiny paper device or something. The screen is fukking nice. I used to be a die hard "I need to feel the paper" type of reader, but my mom surprised me with a Paperwhite for Christmas and it's been a game changer.

And the "send to kindle" option in windows is heavenly

I might have to try this but I need to figure out my college login. I have one but haven't used it in years.
