I feel like incentivizing things for the youth makes them underperform in general.
I know the years I did tutoring in Orleans parish schools before the charter schools took over, the programs tried incentivizing things in order to make them get better grades. Like giving them money (gift cards), concert tickets, etc.
And, as you can see, charter schools still took over.
I’m still not even sure the students have been getting better. It’s just not as noticeable because it’s still an experiment in a sense
But, you never know depending on how the program is rolled out and how people that qualify are alerted and guided.

They way it's described is she would receive benefits in the meantime and the couple would be incentivized to marry. If not, you pay child support but at least you went to trade school, you didn't spend 3 years working min wage.
Depends on the incentive, lots of young men are in the military right now purely because of the GI Bill.

Maybe make trades mandatory in school curriculum, you can’t graduate unless you take four years of some type of trade program
Cause at the very least, a highschool student should be able to graduate working some entry level position somewhere making more than minimum wage, and you can solve some of these so called employment issues for certain professions

You can't really make young men do anything if the culture doesn't highlight or enforce incentives and positives.
