Im not a Drake fan. Lil b has what over a thousand songs? For someone with that kind of catalog its easy to find songs you like. If i did a best of killah priest mix it would be :ohlawd: but that doesnt mean his entire album is going to be good. Im not saying this album is bad friend, i just have some minor criticism with the production which at times, is not up to snuff. Dont insult a friend, over a difference of opinion.

So who do you prefer, Lil B or Killah Priest?

O geez, friend do i have to choose between those 2? :snoop:

Since we're talking about production here, i feel lil b has more hotter beats then Priest but thats because hes made more songs than him.

We're actually not talking about production, we're talking about the entire package here. So in your opinion Lil B is better than Killah Priest? Got it...:heh:

You getting upset. What you're talking about is not what im talking about. My gripe with the album is the production. You're turning it into something else to destroy the credibility of my opinion. That isnt necessary because its just My opinion. Albums resonate with individuals for different reasons. For me, i need to feel the music to a higher degree to have that endorphin release. Be reasonable like good prices, friend.

Yo! I know you have your own opinion and all but how you gonna talk negative about the production on PWOWR and post those low budget beats by DJ Wool on here, talking bout none of the beats on the new cd aren't as good as the ones you posted. C'mon son :what:

Those beats by dj wool resonate with me more than the other beats. I dont think having these extravagant multilayered production items is always the way to do it when something as simple as these dj wool beats can sound better in its simplicity. Its just my opinion. I liked a handful of tracks on the album and to me those are the best songs.

I hear what you're saying but that's not what Priest was aiming for with this new album. The 'extravagant multilayered production' compliment his lyrics perfectly in my opinion, on this particular album. Priest aint spittin no simple shyt on here so why have simple beats as the backdrop?

So as a listener and almost everyone in here has unanimously agreed that Priest has finally found the perfect combination of production (since Heavy Mental) to rap on, which is one of the reasons this thread is over 30+ pages deep.

This album isnt touching heavy mental though. Theres a reason why eternal shine for the spotless mind is better than every song on this album.
