To add on, the Eagles had one of the best O-Lines and McCoy still had a down year. What's going to happen in Buffalo who has one of the worse O-Lines?
The Bills already added Incognito, and Rex said they will bring in more olineman. One more guard and we are good

with the QB situation in Buffalo I dont see Mccoy being that type of difference maker. He's got a lot of mileage on him and he's not a north south guy. Dancing in the backfield without the threat of a passing game will look worse than it did with Sanchez at QB.

Here's what Buffalo did. They need a QB. That goes without saying, but by adding Shady they widened their margin of error significantly. The got Sammy. Now they got Shady. They don't need a once in a generation type QB. They need a QB that can get their talent the ball. That's it. Just the threat of Sammy Watkins alone is enough to back DBs off plus Shady does go east/west a lot, but he doesn't lose a lot of yards. That's not even taking into account that they almost made the playoffs last year so it's not like they're a shyt team. Kyle Orton was an upgrade over EJ and if he plays consistent they're gonna be tough for the Pats to deal with.

Kiko Alonso played in behind Marcel Dareus, Mario Williams, and Jerry Hughes. All beasts in their own right and he won't have that protection in Philly. Buffalo's defense didn't dip at all last year without him gone.

:patrice:

Idk brehs, I think Philly won this one. RB's are a dime a dozen nowadays especially in Chip's offense.

Buffalo gains one of the best RB's in the NFL but take on his enormous contract, lose their best LB, and have EJ Manuel as their QB. Not to mention their O-Line is pretty bad.

Philly loses McCoy but have over $50 million in cap space, almost $60 if they cut Demeco Ryans, and possibly gains an up-and-coming LB if healthy. They can sign the best players at positions of need in free agency and trade up for Mariota by possibly giving away future picks, can also trade Foles to a QB needy team. Spiller, Maxwell, Hardy, Cobb, etc. could be in Philly next year; that would scare me more than a single RB.

Facing Shady twice a year :merchant:

Lets hope Suh gets his mind right and come on down to Miami :to:

nikkas said the same thing when Desean left...offense clearly regressed (w/ defense putting 8 men in the box)
You still need talent for an effective system....Eagles don't have it

last couple teams who let a franchise back walk

Jax (Mojo) been what 3 years now? Toby Gerhart :mjlol:

Minny: only been 1 year but they struggled hard

Titans: ok CJ was starting to crumble, Sankey looks ok. jury still out

Chargers :francis: 4 years of wack ass Ryan Mathews

Colts STILL haven't replaced Edge, lets not act like top 5 RB's just grow on trees

Yes, this is an excellent point. As we all know, the Jaguars, Vikings, Titans, and Chargers have been bastions of excellence and consistency in the NFL, so clearly their poor recent performance can be directly linked to losing their top-string RB.

ok name them
Shawn Lynch, Charles, Bell, DeMarco, Foster (missed 3 games and had nearly the same yards averaging 4.8).

McCoy is a very good player, he's had back to back 300+ carry seasons. If the Eagles used that 10+ mil to get another impact guy and draft a RB in this loaded class I would take that over paying McCoy 12.5 mil. No RB outside of Peterson/Lynch is worth 10+ . DeMarco who is clearly better than McCoy right now won't get over 8......the Eagles also could just sign him for less. Gotta let things play out before you judge

Lynch/Bell/Murrary/Charles/Shady...tier 1
Forte/Foster/Lacy/Morris/Foresett...tier 2

I don't disagree. Just saying look at the contract and the wear and tear.

I'm a Jets fan btw, like trade for both teams
