Kiko Alonso for Shady

Here's what Buffalo did. They need a QB. That goes without saying, but by adding Shady they widened their margin of error significantly. The got Sammy. Now they got Shady. They don't need a once in a generation type QB. They need a QB that can get their talent the ball. That's it. Just the threat of Sammy Watkins alone is enough to back DBs off plus Shady does go east/west a lot, but he doesn't lose a lot of yards. That's not even taking into account that they almost made the playoffs last year so it's not like they're a shyt team. Kyle Orton was an upgrade over EJ and if he plays consistent they're gonna be tough for the Pats to deal with.

Kiko Alonso played in behind Marcel Dareus, Mario Williams, and Jerry Hughes. All beasts in their own right and he won't have that protection in Philly. Buffalo's defense didn't dip at all last year without him gone.

My only contention is this...with the extra cap space Philly has..you cant say that definitively yet. If they make the right moves Kiko can be equally as effective as in Buffalo.

mccoy just didnt look the same last year. he put up the numbers only due to the volume of carries he had. he was ineffective way, way too often for a guy who was owed 10 mil this season. you can get a guy who produces like he did last season off the fukking scrap heap for a 5th of that salary

The Eagles are looking for the Next Mcnabb aka Franchise QB, In the 5 years post Mcnabb Eagles fans have learned the hard way finding a Franchise QB isn't easy. Now the Eagles and Chip Kelly are like (Screw everything else, we need a QB to built around) and are willing to give up all there good players to find him. SMH. Mariota better have a Big Ben Rookie Season for everything the Eagles are giving up to get him and build around him. LOL @ Chip trying to transfer all his College Players to the Team. paying 10 mil for a rb, especially after how pedestrian he looked last year, is dumb as fukk. the eagles are confidant they can replace the majority of his production for much cheaper, and got a solid defensive piece on a rook contract in return freeing up a ton of cap room in the process. the draft is deep at rb, and theres quality rbs on the free agency market that would be fine in that offense for WAY less.

Shawn Lynch, Charles, Bell, DeMarco, Foster (missed 3 games and had nearly the same yards averaging 4.8).

McCoy is a very good player, he's had back to back 300+ carry seasons. If the Eagles used that 10+ mil to get another impact guy and draft a RB in this loaded class I would take that over paying McCoy 12.5 mil. No RB outside of Peterson/Lynch is worth 10+ . DeMarco who is clearly better than McCoy right now won't get over 8......the Eagles also could just sign him for less. Gotta let things play out before you judge

Murray's good, yes, but Trent Richardson could have gotten 1,000-1,100 yards behind Dallas' O-Line. I don't know what to make of this trade. Buffalo makes out well, assuming they bring back their free agents. As for Philly? Well, Alonso is a beast when healthy, and they do have Sproles and Polk (the latter of whom I think could be good), but Shady made that offense go.
