Larry Clark is a pedo and a dope fiend.

That movie was a true story. It was pretty good but hard to watch.
The acting in this movie was top notch.
fukk Justin Timberlake but it was his best acting by far.

Kids isn't what I'd call a great film.
But it is noteworthy for a few reasons.
1. It put an unforgiving spotlight on what the results of lazy parenting are and how early and deeply kids are corrupted by street life.
2. The realism of the movie is something rarely achieved in film. Clark's use of unknowns was a masterstroke at blurring the lines.
3. It jumpstarted the careers of several people.
When I saw it, I was just happy that I didn't run in those extremely dusty circles.
I knew mfs who lived like that and while I wasn't a Cosby kid by any stretch of the imagination, that level of gutter never appealed to me.
