My barber has a sign that explicitly says to remove your hood before you enter his business. If you have it on in the shop, he'll stop what he's doing to tell you to take it off. Don't like it? Go elsewhere.

nikka I’m from EAST NEW YORK BROOKLYN and I live in The Bronx and the only time I have EVER been told that is in court, school, or a fukkin club.Open your mouth with your tales flapping at full steam only to get exposed by one of your own, brehs
spending some time in the city, i see what you saying.. but, it really depends on the store down here(NC).. store i hit up downtown owned by a older cat, they have a sign at the door.. matter of fact, they want you to keep your backpack by the front door too..Breh I grew up in NYC in some of the worst neighborhoods in the city and I've NEVER been asked to take my hood off in a store.

Even with that being said. What happened to Kid Capri was disrespectful as hell. If they wanted that to be a rule u make sure a sign is up either at the door or before people walk in. Or atleast have someone at the door to enforce it. All that yelling across the store shyt is disrespectful and unprofessional.spending some time in the city, i see what you saying.. but, it really depends on the store down here(NC).. store i hit up downtown owned by a older cat, they have a sign at the door.. matter of fact, they want you to keep your backpack by the front door too..

I wasn’t followed then.Wow bro, that sucks. Last time I was followed in a store, I was dressed in a polo.
i agree.. personally, i wouldve just took my business elsewhere..Even with that being said. What happened to Kid Capri was disrespectful as hell. They telling nikkas to remove they hoodie before they go in stores now? The fukk? And nikkas co-signing this behavior on here? Why am I not surprised? Lol. If u want a dress code for ur store make sure there are rules lined out and there’s loss prevention or security at the door to enforce them before people walk in. Yelling across the store is unprofessional as fukk. If u have to do that. It prolly ain’t a real rule.
You basically saying what he said. And you clearly did not grow up in high-crime areas. I’ve lived in neighborhoods where the sign is plastered right on the door before you even walk in: “Please remove hoodies, ski masks, and sun glasses. Thank you.”
edit: They typically look like this...
...and practically every business around the way has them. Laundry mat, liquor store, corner store, you name it.
Black clerks, Arab clerks, white clerks, it don’t matter- you walk in there with your hood on and theyre liable to up that iron on yo ass
