This is typical in LA hood stores
ThisI’ve never been told to remove my hood ever. I would leave the store
That’s crazy. Cause a bunch of people be in the gym with hoodies on down there. People wear them to sweat more. These dudes getting punked by store clerksThis
I went to the Marine Corps Base to go to the gym and was working out in a hoodie (as usual).
no one said anything to me all day so im sitting on the bike doing my cooldown and some chick told me you can’t wear hats or hoodies in the gym. I’ve NEVER heard of that before
So i just got off the bike and left... never been there again

That’s strange. Maybe you don’t live in a high crime area. I’ve been asked many times before, all by Black store clerks, in Black stores, in the hood. I don’t even give the white stores/store clerks the opportunity(I pull hood off before entering).
I can’t speak for NYC but I can speak for Philly and I can speak for all over N.C., you’re not wearing your hood inside most places of business without being asked to take it off- and no, the clerk isn’t going to politely wait for you to reach the counter to tell you. Seriously think you dudes are trolling just to be contrarians. Nobody could’ve grown up that sheltered to have never seen these signs on the door before you even enter, let alone actually go inside hooded up and expect it to not be a problem.
But I tell ya what, stop in Durham NC and go to any gas station with your hood on and see who quickly Mohammed ups the blicky in your face. It’s so widely known that you don’t walk into a store concealing your identity like that, that you’re almost liable to get yourself shot by doing it.
nikka I’m from Brooklyn bozo. And did u even READ where I wrote that it better be outlined in writing or some type of loss prevention or security at the door to enforce it? U nikkas on this site have terrible comprehension. I guess Kid Capri ain’t from a high crime area called The Bronx either huh dumbass? And you clearly did not grow up in high-crime areas. I’ve lived in neighborhoods where the sign is plastered right on the door before you even walk in: “Please remove hoodies, ski masks, and sun glasses. Thank you.”
edit: They typically look like this...
...and practically every business around the way has them. Laundry mat, liquor store, corner store, you name it.
Black clerks, Arab clerks, white clerks, it don’t matter- you walk in there with your hood on and theyre liable to up that iron on yo ass
nikkas dumb bro. LolI never said it doesn't happen, I'm just saying I've never experienced that shyt in NYC. fukk I'm just gonna be making shyt up for to just be a contrarian?
Exactly.Breh I grew up in NYC in some of the worst neighborhoods in the city and I've NEVER been asked to take my hood off in a store.
