In the off-season Philly needs to get a dominant cornerback, a dominant free or strong safety. And at least a dominant running back or a wide receiver. On offense they need someone like Barkley or Gurley who can crack open the field at a moment’s notice. I know that’s a lot to ask but we need to find that guy for us. Or we need to trade Nelson and get a real #1 and move Alshon to the #2. We need someone that’s automatic on offense like how TO was for us ten years ago. We need that sorta superstar playmaker whether it’s at runningback or wideout. And they need at least two studs in the secondary. They need to get in touch with Seattle and see how they scouted Thomas, Chancellor and Sherman because we need to build an unit similar to that back there. Under no circumstances should we ever allow one receiver to ever have 170 yards on us. Basically we just to recreate the Eagles team of old when we had Dawkins, Vincent and Taylor back there. With Trotter in the middle and Kearse and Douglass up front.

I can rock with Coleman at the right number, this backfield needs burst in the worst way. I had my eye on Love but he tore his ACL :mjcry: Give me someone in that mold of Justice Hill, Darrel Henderson, etc ..

I need a RB with some size on him, Love had a down year, torn ACL and I am really unsure his petite frame will hold up in the NFL. I want a dude who can mow cats over and still bounce it outside and has the strength to block on pass plays

I am not sure who is available as a free agent but the Eagles dont have money for prime free agents (like Leveon Bell) I know everyone says Roseman is a magician but they will be over the cap in a few weeks, he has to work magic to get the eagles to salary cap at least at the even point.

Agholor has little trade value aside from maybe a 5 round pick. He had a down year, never had 1000 yards ever and teams will look at him as a slot WR and you can draft that.
Regarding Seattle, they have a DB system that allows them to maximize late round CB and turn them into stars. They have a profile- someone like Rasul Douglas would be a baller in Seattle- they like tall corners with "stiff hips"- I wish Philly could figure that system out

I've had time to reflect and first and foremost, I'm proud to be posting with y'all. A bunch of brehs who live in different parts of the world supporting the same team :salute: salute to all y'all

Second, I'm proud of this team man. 4-6 and still made the playoffs. Some of it was luck but all of it was heart :salute:

Throughout all the injuries we have discovered some unearth talent like Maddox and Leblanc.
Rasul handled the new role. That boy can ball and when all the starters come back I hope they can find a stable spot for breh

We need a RUNNINGBACK, smallwood ain't cutting it and they don't trust Josh Adams. I like Coleman in FA or Justice Hill in the draft

Guard is a need now, Brooks is done for the next season and we haven't finish this season :ld:

Nick Foles man:mjcry:, I will never talk about that dude for the rest of my life cause Of Feb 4th 2018 and this season. Mark My words, Carson willcome back brehs.

But yeah, this loss hurts still but bring on the off season. It's Howie time :wow:

I still can’t believe we lost :mjcry:

Yea its soul crushing because we were so close to winning. They could've legit pulled it out, but that's how shyt swings sometimes & this still turned out to be a good season, especially after 4 and 6. I have no doubt that next season they'll be back stronger than ever.

As is, We are projected to be 15-20 million over the cap.

The key to the Eagles Cap situation is Foles, Peters, Jernigan and Agholor

Foles - I hate to let him go without getting value back. Then u have dead money if you trade him.

I wonder if we can Franchise Tag him and trade him without having dead money consequences and his new squad gives him an extension. We dont need no dead money from Foles. :jbhmm:

But 20 million off the books puts us at or a little under the cap.

Peters has a 10 mill cap hit with a team option, hopefully he hangs it up on his hall of fame career and we aint forced to decline his option and watch him go somewhere else. He should retire an eagle

Jernigan has an 11 million cap hit with a team option. He aint coming back on that. Plus the draft is deep on d line talent I heard.

Agholor is not making 9 million with the team picking up his option. They will probably try to extend him cheap at 3-5 mill base salary a year

These four players, the eagles can be 30 mil plus under the cap.

Then there is a possibility that Long and/or Bennett hang it up, that is another 5 to 12 million.

So its possible to sign Leveon but dont know if they want to allocate so much money to a running back.

But like I said before he is a sure thing and a difference maker. I would do it but I understand why they wouldnt.

But they could sign a marquee free agent under my scenario.

And with Seattle, their system was Kris Richard.
Dude can really coach up a secondary. Dont know if it was him who was a major part in drafting Sherman, Chancellor, Maxwell, Lane and bringing in Browner from the CFL but u are right they find value secondary players late in the draft.

But it was coaching that made them great.

I wasnt a believer, but he turned that cowboys secondary around like it was nothing. Wish we had him here.

he was part of it but they have an actual system developed by Pete Carroll, I saw something about it on tv, it has something to do with footwork
