When people use this talking point what they really mean is that gang members lives are not worth anything because of the damage they do to the community? So they are asking "why do gangmembers not donate their lives to a worthy cause? I can't kill George Zimmerman because I have something to lose and my life is worth something."A person joins a group that is a net-negative on their immediate environment and someone would actually wonder why they wouldn't do something in the name of their community?
Yea, it sucks these fools out here doing damage, and it causes us with the means to leave their asses behind to do shytty things in the shytty neighborhood till they croak.
That said, busting on the cops leads to crackdowns you can't fight. Its like fools bigging up Killmonger, knowing that the slight utterance of some shyt he says will have that drone drop

Volunteer cops? Good luck getting a group of Black people to make a neighborhood watch alligned with the police to police their neighborhoods. This is your solution?

Most the nikkas I knew never joined gangs for money, being in a gang is one of the worst ways to make money because in this day and age you will get RICO'd once you start seeing serious bread. The only money making opportunity being in a gang would give you is being able to sell drugs in certain areas, and even then you prolly gon start off as a runner. Most the nikkas I know who joined gangs did so just because that was what they homies was on and they was tired of getting they ass beat off association, that or to look cool
