This success lead to contracts and funding from H.U.D. to do similar patrols in other cities across the country. The irony is the Jews, via the Anti-Defamation League, used their power and influence to put an end to that government funding the "Dope Busters" were recieving.

The same people that ensure the safety and livability of their own communities, via independent security units, didn't want to afford Black people that same level of community responsibility, dignity and civilization.

I used to work as NOI security in 96 and 97. I can speak on how the NOI lost those NYC security contracts in early 97. A couple of key things u left out.....When we did security on a residential building we didn't 1) Jump into any fights (I specifically remember me and an older brother just watching 2 teen females beat each other on the side of our building) 2) We didnt carry any weapons 3) The hooligans in the building were still selling dope...we were just placed their to "look safe." 4) When I worked in Brooklyn the young cats would just go to the security desk blindspots and smoke their weed.,

Dont get me wrong, the people showed us respect but the hooligans were still doing their dirt "around" us.


Now this is my "hands on" account of what I remember...Not hearsay. Did U ever work for NOI security? Do u remember the wage? I do...it was 7.50 an hour and u didnt need your security licesnce. Do u remember how pay roll was always fukking up in 97 and our checks would be late?
