Mendes is different type of take down guy though, he’s very explosive with his double leg take downs. I’m pretty sure khabib can take down mcgregor but he might have to eat a shot first. Either way this sh!t ain’t lasting beyond the second
And this is why I don't like this fight for khabib.

Did you see how much smaller alvarez was to mcgregor? Mcgregors whole gimmick is to beat up smaller shorter armed fighters. Alvarez isn’t a good comparison to khabib
You not giving Alvarez his just due. Alvarez is tough as nails a top knotch wrestler and a fukking beast. He has never been a handicap for him. He felt that power from Connor and it changed his way of fighting. Only fighter I seen able to deal with Connor power was Nate. And we know those Diaz brothers has cement in there skull, they chin just built different. Khabib jaw is not on that level. He even slept my boy(that I know personally) Dustin P....and DP is another fight with a steel jaw.

Ah I see, you have my attention now. So to paraphrase you believe Khabib will have difficulty taking Conor down and even if he does get him down you believe he will sustain damage due to Conor training combat Bjj?

I'd meet it halfway... I think Khabib is gonna have some trouble closing distance (at least while Conor's gas tank is there which is like 1 and a half rounds) and I don't think those low single legs he sometimes shoots just to get in and run the pipe will go unpunished. But if he gets Conor down, I have very little faith that Conor won't be overwhelmed by the wrist control and traps that Khabib uses on the ground.

Agreed for the most part. I think if Khabib minds his P's and Q's, he should be able to get the fight where he wants it, but the dude sometimes does things I can't explain like standing too long with Al and Johnson. Plus he sometimes shoots from distance which Al was able to get low and stuff, there's room to counter and punish there. I'd still bet Khabib though.

Conor landed at least 2 clean shots on Mayweather. His hands are still underrated for some reason. These mma guys are easy for him to hit. That being said, Khabib wants to embarrass him and he's not going to stand with him. I give Conor props for taking this fight with no warmup. This is a horrible matchup.

Nate isn’t a great example either, he’s good off his back but he’s terrible at taking guys down. Strikers start acting funny when they face a guy who can take them down and submit them. Mcgregor will come out tentative to avoid leaving himself open.

I was the first to predict Conor UFC success on this very forum, when everybody said he would lose to aldo, I told him Conor would knock him out in the first round, because of mma fighters do not understand range control, woodley learn this which is why he started going on a winning streak, however Woodley uses range control better than mcgregor who relies too much on his reach.

UFC made Mcgregor, all his opponents have been cherry picked, to build him up, but now all the cherries have been picked and he has to fight someone his size.

Aldo is a midget, flat footed muy thai style tailored made for conor, after the loss he started training with Robert Garcia which is well documented on youtube even sparred Mikey Garcia, and you see his improvement in boxing with the body shot he delivered to stephens which he learned from Robert.

Mcgregor's boxing is trash, but most mma fighters have zero boxing at all. So he has been able to shine but make no mistake, Mcgregor's power is overrated.

He does not have one punch power, his KO's come from much smaller men who walked into the shots, also Mcgregor does not good defense he gets hit a lot when he doesn't blow guys out of the water. It's not by chance he went the distance with Max Halloway who is his same size, a weight bully just like him.

Mcgregor towered over RDA at the face off dwarfed him, and RDA is at 170, so that tells how much Conor has been cutting to get and advantage.
His only fight at 155 was against another smaller guy Alvarez who was finished in Bellator never should've been in the title picture but they were holding Khabib back to hype Conor who was struggling with the 145 weight cut.

People say khabib stand up is bad, but after 26 fights Khabib has never been cut never been dropped never been battered up or beat up never lost a round. That's not easy to do in MMA, Conor has losses in the D league organizations so you can't downplay Khabib's record because most of the wins are not in the UFC.

In the last fight Khabib had, he dominated the fight with his jab. Khabib isn't dynamic with his hands but his jab is way better Conor's who has no jab at all and relies on he clumsiness of his opponent to open up his offense.

Chad Mendes busted Mcgregr up, he landing an over hand right that would've knocked Mcgregor out if put his weight into the punch and turned his hips when he threw

Bringing up the floyd fight is pointless it was an exhbitiob match, there is nothing he could've gained from that ass whooping other than years of his career because of head trauma, which is why he took so much time off and his ability to take damage might have been effected from the beating floyd gave him which many people do not understand the severity of the damage he took, the ref stepped in to literally save that man's life lmao.

Conor is use to being the bigger guy except for Nate Diaz fight, but nate is too skinny for his height lacks coordination and power, yet he was able to Rock Conor. People act like Nate is some beast, he damn near has a losing record in MMA, most of his finishes come from submission not KO, but Mcgregor dove for the legs because he would rather tap out then get seriously hurt by a KO.

So Khabib obviously has a better chin than Mcgregor, and he will be able to take mcgregor's shots, he spars with Cormier, Rockhold, and Cain on the regular, Mcgregor trains with bums he can beat up, he didn't even bring an elite boxer to train for mayweather, this tells you all you need to know abot his preparation. You don't get better training with people worst than you at the same discipline you're trying to improve in.

This is the beginning of the end of Mcgregor, he will lose this fight to Khabib, he will lose to Kevin lee, or Tony Furgeson, there are no more gimmies for him. The weight bully shyt is over, all mcgergor has is the left hand, which can be neutralized, and put in a drawer also Conor doesn't have the type of lateral movement to avoid the shoots from khabib, he's not has a fast as people say not as strong he doesn't have one punch KO power, he had to batter alvarez to get him out of there and the guy is already punched drunk at this point in the game

I find it funny the same MMA fans who play up grappling and were saying mcgregor was a hype job in the beginning and are now playing up striking over grappling now that conor is popular lmao. Conor's striking style is not the kind that negate grappling, he kept Alvarez at bay because he had an enourmous reach advantage, and Alvarez always is very.. dumb and would often circle towards conor's power hand instead of away from it

Conor hasn't fought in two years, he hasn't had the type of mma fights needed to prepare, he would've need to fight Al Quinta first before Khabib, a guy he would test him with grappling and give him an out look on what to do against aggressive take downs

There is a reason Woodley is not losing an type soon, he is the batman of MMA, he started out has a trash ass wrestling who thought he could punch, but was intelligent enough to realize what he had to learn through his defeats.

He lost to a Jake Shields earlier in his career, but now he's a BJJJ blackbelt, he rendered Maia useless flaws victory busted up his face
He lost to Rory Mcdonald, but now after all the rounds he has put in at the Wild Card Show he is more of threat on his feet than he is with his take down, which he was able to beat Till so easily, Till would beat up Rory like Lawler did, but Woodley has evolved into a true fighter using the tools he needs to take way their best options to win, he would destroy Rory now. Lmao looking back that fakkit Mod Infamous gave me WOAT because I said Woodley would beat Wonderboy lmao, fukking scrub don't know shyt.

Like I said all my predictions have been right, Khabib has the size to negave Conor's fake power, he will out jab conor and use that to set up his take downs, the mayweather fight proved Conor has no power, he has no snap in his punches, its laughable guys were getting KO'd by him, boxing gloves allow you to punch harder because of the supporrt around your wrist, He dwarfed Floyd who is smaller than most of the guys at 145 in MMA, he would really have to fight someone like Cruz or TJ Dillahsaw if he came to MMA, Mcgregor was like 25 pounds heavier than Floyd, his punches had zero effect.

So like I said Mcgregor KO's small guys, he will not be able to do it to Khabib, yo heard it here first, Forgueson is more a bad match up for Khabib because he can end the fight of his back. Conor's fall begins in here and the events afterwards shall be a 30 for 30 in the making.

We must don't watch the same MMA. I clearly stated about the Diaz brothers chin and Connors power. We watching in two different ball parks. Which is fine but I train with MMA guys and I watch from a strategic standpoint not from a point of bias.

I have no bias towards either fighter. Yes Diaz has a good chin and mcgregor has a good left. I’m just saying if mcgregor comes out aggressive like a rabid animal he’ll leave himself vulnerable for a take down. Mcgregors approach will totally be different against khabib then in comparison to diaz.

Dude literally has a Marcelo Garcia black belt in his camp in Dillion Danis who trains with him everywhere. People really don't understand the levels to this shyt. Connor been working his ass off with his wrestling and bjj. Chad Mendes is a fukking MONSTER especially in the takedown game. Khabib has great control on the ground but nowhere near the variety to get it there like Chad. If folks think it's just so easy to get Connor to the ground asked Eddie Alvarez why he didn't? Eddy is another monster wrestler(we see what he Anthony Pettis and others) you think he didn't want to test Connor on the ground? There is a reason, if people think Connor grappling still the same as against mendes they are sadly mistaken. Dude even hit a x guard sweep against Nate in there second fight, if folks even know what that is. Yes I agree with you about khabib hands your spot on.
Didnt know dillon was in his camp. Then hell yeah he has been getting some looks at some grappling and bjj

It kills me when people say his fights were picked carefully. Then why even give him Khabib now? Just do Diaz 3 or give him Poirier again. Or just set up a no name guy and let him fight in Ireland. It's ways you could baby him and just keep milking the cash cow.

He was on 1 leg for that Mendes fight. And he took the fight last minute just like Mendes did. Cuz he won ppl seem to just give Chad credit more than the guy that won.

All that said,Conor might tap to strikes or the ref saves him. Khabib is not going to stand with this guy. It's laughable that anyone even thinks that would be a good idea.
