Dont know if it was the lack of crowd participation or if he had his teeth fixed but something seemed off with connor last night. Hes never been a wordsmith but has always mixed his schtick with one or two gems one can atleast chuckle at. Last night he just seemed unhinged and possessed i dont know i have never been a fan of his act perhaps the soundbites of his greatest one liners has me remembering his routine more fondly

Yes I do believe he will have difficulty taking him down, mainly closing the distance to get him down. Crisp boxing( which Connor has) neutralize the ability to close the distance to get the takedown. This I why Eddie Alverez who also has grade A legit wrestling couldn't do it. I also believe that if Connor gets taken down khabib won't be able to keep him there( hence the reference to training with a Marcelo black belt) I feel Connor will have enough tools in his belt at this point to be able to get this back standing. I like khabib I think his animal but I think his lack of boxing is gonna get him exposed in this fight. Also feel his reckless attempts to get the takedown will cost him in this match.

Did you see how much smaller alvarez was to mcgregor? Mcgregors whole gimmick is to beat up smaller shorter armed fighters. Alvarez isn’t a good comparison to khabib

Chad Mendes was the last good wrestler Conor fought. Chad got gassed/clipped and got knocked out in the 2nd iirc. Conor has to have improved tdd but Khabib wrestling is on another level. I know Rockhold and DC are his teammates but they making him out to be the new GSP as far as Khabib being able to hang with much bigger stronger guys on the mat.
Crazy to think this fight wouldn't be happening if Artem never called Khabib a puzzy online. Artem, your slap eating azz is the real MVP.

Connor has wit and a few slick lines but his mic work has always been overrated. IMO prior to the first Diaz fight he was at least coherent since that fight he has fallen off on the mic.
Mendes is different type of take down guy though, he’s very explosive with his double leg take downs. I’m pretty sure khabib can take down mcgregor but he might have to eat a shot first. Either way this sh!t ain’t lasting beyond the second

I don't think I am. I personally think kevin Lee would wreck them both and not for the staph infection Lee cardio would have held up to finish the job against Ferg. I know people don't like Connor because his mouth but reality is dude is a student of the game and takes a ton of pride in his craft. He's also a phenomenal fighter like him or not. If khabib don't manage to keep get Connor down and keep him smothered, he's going to get whooped.
