That same myopic obsessive competitiveness that get you to the league and gets you to greatness and keeps you there is the same thing that has you sounding stupid when you arent on the court. And this applies to all generations. Ironically the two guys that I havent seen this silly shyt from are the two guys everyone wants to pit against each other all the time. Kobe always showed love and respect to his predecessors and the young cats. Bron has always done the same and continues to do so. That said, you dont get clicks and ratings for thoughtful, balanced analysis (see: Inside being the "gold standard" and winning Emmys yealy

It just ain’t the young nikkas saying stupid shyt, have you seen Gilbert’s podcast? Have you seen some of the shyt Rasheed Wallace has said that makes zero sense? It's both young players and older players that say shyt to downplay the success of each other and to be honest I didn't start seeing the young players do this until recently. Why people take extra offense when the young nikka say it, but is perfectly fine for a 50-year-old retiree to shyt all over this era?
