You need a couple of corrections so that you don’t have to put words in my mouth based on faulty assumptions.
I’ll also post some sources as well so people can do their homework.
I’ll put the corrections in red like I do with my students.
ok cool. now we're clear. Nah. We not...but we will be in a second.
you hold belief in the divine feminine & that our african ancestors operated in a matriarchy and or egalitarian society where no traditional male leadership existed like every other culture. Nope I never said that. Because unlike some, I don’t make the mistake of homogenizing the cultures of the second largest continent in the world. Instead, don’t try and summarize me, just listen. There were SOME pre-colonial, pre-judeo/Islamic/Christian cultures around the world that were matriarchal and/or egalitarian. This isn’t just my belief. Not just African. But majority of cultures around the world. Even in some places where they are overwhelmingly toxic towards women today. I’ll provide some literature on the matter for further reading below.
even more fascinating is that you believe that due to slavery black men have been influenced by a latent homosexual white european culture that has currently caused them to exert control over black women like white men have done to everybody on earth. Note I said “some” not all. And if you denying this and acting like you’ve never seen black men sound damn near identical to white supremacists in some of their insults and actions towards black women then just say so. Because I can give plenty of examples from celebrities, internet gurus, randoms online, all kinds of stuff. Pimp/hoe culture alone in our community is a prime example of it. Same for some blk women as well.
basically, like jemele hill who cosigned author damon young's 2017 piece, you actually agree that "straight black men are the white men of the black community." wow Not sure who this is. I’m familiar with the whole black men are the white men of the blk community argument. Once again, I don’t think all are but some do act this way. Only thing I’d add is that some blk women do as well.
so what kind of feminist are you ma: intersectional feminist, womanist, african womanist, africana womanist.. and who you feeling out there: jamilah lemieux, bell hooks, chimamanda ngozi adichie, alice walker, michele wallace, moya bailey, kola boof? As I stated before I’m no kind of “ist” in spite of your attempts to box in my perspectives. The closest disposition I’m aligned with is pragmatism. Most of those people I’m not even familiar with. My perspectives are based off history, anthropological studies and my own observations. No theoretical framework is perfect. I take ideas that make sense and leave the rest.
Not “feminist” just common fukking sense.
“Study shows that modern hunter-gatherer tribes operate on egalitarian basis, suggesting inequality was an aberration that came with the advent of agriculture”
Even beyond the Masuo culture in ancient China, when white men aren’t cock-blocking the scholarship, there’s emergent evidence of egalitarian or matriarchal cultures. Certainly time periods that afforded females far more respect than many that followed. Note that there are other examples throughout Asia as well. (Gotta find those sources. There are some great quotes from Europeans about how horrible and demonic and evil these cultures were just because the women had more freedoms that their pious, hypocritical, Victorian cultures didn’t afford to white women.)
”During this matriarchal era, women were in charge of ruling, judging, conducting family affairs, distributing food, clothing, and all other necessities of life. Men did the hunting, and gathered foodstuff from jungles and farms, all of which they handed over to the matriarch, for distribution. The physical differences between the sexes, presently obvious, were not as noticeable in those days. This difference became a factor to be considered only at a later date, resulting from environmental and living conditions. In those earlier days, women differed little from men in physical strength, and stature. As a result of their living conditions, they had become strong, and were capable of doing arduous work for many long hours. Further, side by side with the men, they took part in fighting off enemies. 1”
Even when some cultures were patriarchal many were far better in gender relations than some of cultures in the world today. Ancient Egypt is a great example of this. Many ancient West African cultures as well. Even when men were in power in these cultures, women weren’t considered inferior or denied property ownership or political influence in a lot of cases. It wasn’t perfect mind you.But we can learn a lot.
If you are interested in how these changes came about and why lemme know and we can chop it up about different evolutionary and biological theories. Also loss of the feminine divine and from ancient cultures to the Judeo-Christian influences is a whole nother post but I’ve got some great articles on that as well. Yahweh used to have a whole wife and it wasn’t the church.
Trust me, when I first started learning this stuff I was pretty shocked too. And this information has nothing to do with any of those people you mentioned before.

i made nothing up lil mama. again, you said "due to slavery black men have been influenced by a latent homosexual white european culture that has currently caused them to exert control over black women like white men have done to everybody on earth. black men have oppressed, attacked, and bullied black women like white men. currently as well" we all read it. we eatin...
now of course you had to acknowledge that black men never created any laws to subjugate black women. at first it was all us women feminist talk from you so you were good with that. but the flabby and sick don old bizzle said hey wait a minute there shawty.... we black, let's keep it at just black folks. so that law shyt had to stop
you switched it up and then said it did not have to be in the literal sense with examples and analogies. your point is that abusive black male patriarchal social doctrine was law in itself that oppressed black women. while white men and women oppressed both black men and black women? black men then turned around and imitated the white slave masters and oppressed you in return. so as a black woman you are a victim and slave twice, both from white people & black men. black men = master and black woman = black man's slave. uh-uh that's that alice walker & kimberle crenshaw talk right there
were you surprised when celie finally found out that mister's real name was albert?

Whew! Now we can proceed.
Here’s some reading for homework

Even science shows that men have the X (feminine) chromosome within us.. So every man, according to science, have a "bytch" in them.. Men just hold over a woman's head that he possess a Y chromosome, the masculinity part, of humanity..
Men take for granted that we slid from between the legs of a woman.
Makes me wonder about a rib being pulled from a man theology.. Looks like that could be used to set a precedent to some fckery..

Who switched it up? You were the one who made that mass generalization in an attempt to oversimplify my stance.if you did read, then that means you didn’t comprehend.
Regardless, that’s fine because there’s no need for you to be confused. Because I’m right here. You don’t have to misinterpret what I say. You can just ask for clarification.
Now did you do your homework and review the sources and articles that inform my perspectives that have zero to do with any of the people you keep mentioning? The hilarious part of this is that a great deal of this information came from male researchers.
I mean, seriously, if you need more resources I have them. A lot of what you associating with “feminism” is actually a misunderstanding of much of what we actually think we know about humanity and gender in the first place.
