Yea, its one thing if your wife chooses not to drink but her not being able to leagally drink is a problem. A lot of corporate functions require you to bring your SO and they are expected to mingle and sometimes have a drink.. I’m not a big drinker but IMO unless its a medical thing or religion, not drinking at all is a little weird. Even if you just babysit one cocktail all night, most corporate functions are going to have alcohol, and if you want to climb that corporate ladder you need to attend some of those events.. its politics but it is what it is

Sorry breh. It's true. He's flip flops which is one of the weaknesses of his show.

He'll talk about blue collar this, and how an average man can give an amazing life. 5 calls later he'll be shaking his head at a nikka average money.

I just assume from his if you aren't making 50k by 30, 40k by 25 or something, then you should be working 60 hrs a week minimum.

KS has good rhetoric, but I'd like to see him address some more complex topics. I'd also like to see more on how to build with a regular breh w/ calls.



This x1000. Love the show. I know he's not a counseling expert, but balance is important especially as a man. Almost always the more experienced you are as a breh the better off you'll be.

I think the reason is is that there are general truths that he stands on then there are truths/statements that are adjusted based on the convo that the women may state during a call.

Drinks, corporate dinners, travel, lunch & learns, golf etc.

Plenty of ways to do business, but if you want to build relationships, the best way is to “Be in the room”, show your face and participate in these activities.

FYI - You don’t even need to drink, you can just get a water with lemon in a cocktail glass.

Wp bond through drinking. I went to school with (white) future 2nd gen neuro surgeons who were functional alcoholics. The key is to stick to your limit while still seeming tipsy. They call it social lubricant for a reason.

We had a champagne bar that served as a backdrop to many connects. We went there for date night sometimes, so when we came in with them folks, the old mob guys who held it down showed mad love, increasing our social standing.

Kind of like the "no man's land" of women in there 35-45+ and single with kids but for men. It's a weird space for men. If youa re 25-32 and make more than the average 40k, you are technically better off than the majority of choices. But women still lump you in wiht the 20-40 year old crowd not financially well off because the life you lead is still limited you know?

I know a lot of white collar brehs 25-32 years old who make decent money, and still have the same issues as men who make less than average

Brehs need self-awareness and not to blame everything on alcohol. You need to be able to read the room, be in control, understand your tolerance, and be responsible for your actions.
