I never suggested otherwise. But as you said with the increased "risk", it seems like a losing proposition. I don't know the specifics of your friend's relationship. But how does a man who seemingly is doing the right things, taking care of his family, respond to her having difficulties connecting emotionally with him? Why is this moot point still being discussed?

Any and every in-shape women could easily find a great, one thousand percent loyal guy for herself. Instead, you all desire to lock down the tiny minority of men who have unmeasured access to other women.

Date, marry and be happy with the guy who is obsessed with you and get over the primitive, bestial part in your little brains that think such behavior is "unattractive."

More men stay with their cheating wives than you think. I know some personally stayed with wives after they cheated on them. I know some men that have "Daddy's maybe" child with another guy claiming he's the biological father of that too.
