In all honesty, I don’t think BLACK men should get with women that make substantially more than them, maybe not even if they make a little more than them.

I hate to say it but it must be said. I have seen other races navigate this with more grace. White people, Hispanics, Asians. I have seen women making more than their husbands but still were submissive and did not demean their men. On the other hand when I have seen black women making more than their husbands or boyfriends they used it as a bludgeon to continually remind them of the fact. Not all. But enough to catch my attention. Hell my brother does IT. Has a degree and all. His ex wife has two masters. RN. She made 6 figures easily. My brother was hovering around 55-60 grand. She made his life HELL for years. He finally left and is doing amazing. In two years he met a bad Jamaican cutie and they got married. Got a house. His wife is a size 6. His EX is a size. . . well i dont even know. She had weight loss surgery when they were together and somehow ended up even bigger.

She is literally a ho now. She went crazy after my brother got engaged and I think she tried to one up him. In two years she has had 3 engagements. She makes 6 figures but is B R O K E. In crazy debt. Her moms had to finance her a car cause her credit is that fukked up.

This was my brother's experience, he's now divorced.

What's fukked up is, moms got her into finance, and then she wielded it over my brother. She's about to get remarried and my brother has sworn off women (for now).

I've been through this twice. One with my son mother and the other with my last girlfriend.

My son mom did hair. she had a crazy cash flow. I had regular job. Wasnt nothing to crazy but I was making more than the average dude(which of course she didnt realize). But I didnt give a fukk. I had time to take my son to school, pick him up, take him to football, take him to boxing and brought him home fed him and did homework. You couldnt tell me shyt. I was happy. She hit me with that I could do bad by myself and I bounced. shyt hurt me as fukk to be away from my son. But I was not going to let a bytch talk crazy to me.

Ex girl, We made around the same but she worked in city hall. Went back to school and started to act funny. I dont remember but I either heard her say it or she said some shyt about her feeling like we are roommates. I learnt my lesson the first time. I kept my room with uncle at my old apartment. I wasnt going to get got. She ended it, hurt like shyt because I said that was my last girlfriend. And sure enough she was my last one(just have a few I deal with occasionally)...

Both of them tried to spin back to me....... Curved the fukk out of them.
