Lets keep it a buck...the mistake a lot of these women make is not caring who the father of their child is, not requiring marriage, not requiring a steady income for the man, and a stable house to raise a child. They have children when they're young (because that's what they "supposed" to do) and just see it as a check box they have to mark off, and if shyt goes South its , "oh well, I'll just upgrade to another man and collect child support from Pookie" ... fast forward a few years later and they on the phone talking about "I was young and dumb." I seen this shyt with my own friends and family.

Playa, I like you have family and friends who are like that. They truly want to believe in their lie they tell to themselves. They really are angry at their choices but don’t want to be judged on it.

Most of them would truly be happy with a everyday dude if they choose to. The issue is she will resent him for what he is not.

Too many women have a “It’ll work itself out” attitude about their lives.

They think some man will always come to save them at some point.

One more thing....why do so many women die on that hill of "I was young and dumb/immature" when since I was 5 years old all I've been told is the narrative that women "mature faster than men" and all I ever saw growing up was my older cousins and brothers having jobs by 14 just to help out with household expenses.

The mother(grandmother)promotes having the babies young because you want to be able to play and run with the baby....

Notice she didn't mention the parts you mentioned...because she didnt have it herself, so she feels it's not really needed...

I liked her (bc she reinforced my own upbringing, lol), but you're glossing over quite a bit if you think its bc she's latina.

However, it's important to remember that women like lucia (multi gen hvw) are only created in certain environments. Those environments require a good percentage of hvm (to pay for etiquette classes, horseback riding, skiing, etc).

The cycle starts with enough hvm creating families to create a sub culture of men and women raised to continue it.
Now where you see that at among bp in the US???

Latinas, meanwhile, have hundreds of years of chasing white colonizers with the express purpose of lightening the line and securing the bag. Naturally, they'd be better at it.

Men are supposed to lead their women. The issue in the bc is, the men in the community were blocked from being in positions to provide and lead (enmass) and the women were then thrust into the role. Mainly because western patriarchal ideology doesn't allow for brotherhood of others. Only one group of men can be on top in this case white men. All others have to bow, so lighter women were allowed to and found ways to try and flourish by lightening themselves without losing certain personal aspects of their otherness. Black women by nature of their God given melanin cannot do that. You can only lighten so much.

They are coming to men with children from multiple men, and wanting these men to take care of them and these children ON TOP of saying they dont want anymore kids, and if they'd o then "maybe 1". They literally serve zero purpose to men but try to use the "you should be leading" argument to shame a man into taking on their baggage. As mentioned, a woman with no guidance of a man whether it be her husband or her father will always lead herself to a life of destruction.

I also agree with this and I wasn't shifting blame, just outlining the field, if it's redundant my apologies.

I understand that there are women that use HVM or men in general as janitors and that thinking is given the go ahead by people who make the society go round. They can do bad all by themselves but want to shame dudes into cleaning up their messes.

I have to admit, it does rub me the wrong way for black men to be all "latinas are amazing!!!" while also gmb and/ or bytching about child support. How do you think those women are made??

My situation as an ados woman is unique. Imo, it's unreasonable to hold us to those more extreme expectations, and then to shame us publicly for not meeting them. Weight, grooming, and attitude is one thing. The additions are, frankly, expensive.

But then again, I also find it uncouth to publicly chastise bm for our global lack of wealth, so maybe I'm just built different.
