That is his opinion. Truth be told, most people in the corporate world will not make it past mid management. Most people are not even in management positions to boot. In addition, most people who work will not climb the corporate ladder.

If he was talking about someone running for POTUS, then I would agree. In the white or blue collar world, the majority of people who make a livable wage/salary are quite content with their situation because it provides stability and security.

Lastly, one will never be rich working for someone else, not to mention, the glass ceiling does exist for BM, so Brehs with the hustler spirit will have to create their own ventures and take risks.

Being a married man doesn’t mean said man has a strong worth ethic no more or less than a man who chooses to be single. If anything, people need to learn how to keep their personal life separate from their professional life.
considering over the years the biggest companys in the world was being over run by black man LOL

Great! I am sure some of them were featured in Black Enterprise, Ebony, Jet, etc. Thing is, compared to the general Black population, they are a huge minority. We both know that the majority of men who run things aren't Black men.

Marriage doesn't guarantee success nor happiness.

Yeah its not the end of the world for Bezos but when you lose your 400k house that you've been paying the mortgage on for the past 20 yrs, where do you start from? #GMB
In your imaginary scenario, how much money has she contributed to the mortgage? Why wouldn’t you marry a woman with an income close to your own?

This may change as more millennials get into top corporate roles but as it currently stands (with Gen X and Baby Boomers in those positions), there is a lot of truth to it

It will continue

Only the upper class and the rich are getting married at the usual rates

Everybody else is cohabitating

Everybody wanna copy what rich folks do except build generational wealth

:dead:

He just said it now. I’m crying.

Dude was saying “If she wana cum and have orgasms, get a broke dude, high value men don’t have time for that, we make you orgasm with our black card”
:russ: It’s official he’s just making this up
In an earlier stream he was saying high value men have to keep it 100 in the bedroom and you’ll know because once you’re done she shouldn’t run to the bathroom immediately after.
If she does she’s finishing herself off because you couldn’t

That ain’t “white man shyt”.

That’s low level thinking.

Even with black corporate men it’s the same.

No he’s actually right. The corporate environment is a “white” environment. Evaluating candidates based on whether theyre married is “white man” shyt. It’s all white shyt man.

Yes you May have black men that play the game, but the corporate environment is not ours.

There is a strong correlation between career success and marriage. On that point, he is entirely correct.

Now, whether the correlation is due to: (1) the path to success bringing many men into contact with women they are "compatible" with; (2) that "driven" and wealthier men are naturally more likely to date and marry within their peer group or; (3) that being married actually helps men become more successful - is a bit muddy.

Many women married to successful men do a lot of the heavy lifting; whether that is editing and helping develop ideas, bookkeeping, childcare, and homecare; connections and support from marriage - or anything number of other things.

Just to play devils advocate...

cant you make the point that most people in senior corporate positions are older let’s say 40’s/50’s. That generation hold traditional views on marriage. It will be interesting when the millennials fully take over the “adult” space.
