One of my friends (married) does some stuff in the city to help children get into technology. I think he did stuff through the company he worked for then he started his own non-profit. Met some people through the Chamber of Congress, then he met the mayor for something related to his charity.

If you have causes/purposes you can yield influence. I think about it too. I have some side things I do and I have been on local television and radio regarding what I do.

Yes.

You can literally just pull up to the public meetings they have and meet them easily. Don’t even gotta do much. These people are basically politicians, they’re going to go out of their way to talk to you if you’re even in the same vicinity as them.
