Is this dude going to spend the whole show laughing at his own jokes?! :what:

He really needs to cut off all that filler. Last show I skipped to the calls, he took 2 calls and that was the show. Spends 1 hour barking about the likes and super chats, then 5 minutes of the money world song. shyt is losing steam. On IG at least he gets to the calls immediately.

:manny:

Thanks for reminding me of why I don’t listen anymore.

He should have been diversified his topics.

its because grand dad worked himself to death only to he forgotten rather than remembered. You do have cases where the grandmother keeps his memory alive but everyone else was too young or wasnt alive to remember him
Only to be forgotten, or have brehettes and certain men speak as if it’s fact that most of our grandfathers were oppressing and keeping our grandmothers captive :francis:

Color Purpler was a literally attack on ADOS men. I'm not even ADOS and as a kid I felt some kinda way about it when I saw it. I dont think people understand the conditioning the media did in the 80s and 90s. We were happy with 'representation' not realizing what it conditioned us for. Its a reason all these chicks say "I want 90s RnB love", remove the talent and listen to the lyrics of those men, literally begging to be servants.

It did.

Most women I encounter 30 and up, now, think most to all black men here cheat, are no good, etc. We all grew up on that conditioning; color purple, waiting to exhale, soul food, etc.

Sad state of affairs, man.

For over twenty years I've tried to watch color purple but I can't and just turn it off. It's disgusting.

I was a 90s child and I remember how Ricki Lake, Jenny Jones, Sally, etc did to black men with those day time talk shows.

Yup, we didnt even understand what we were consuming but it normalized certain things to us where no women sound like they are reading a script when they describe themselves

yeah alot of stuff i enjoyed/consumed as a kid I look at very differently now. Luckily I had involved parents so i could separate entertainment from who I am, but many kids did not have that luxury and were raised by the media

That gay writer for that show that wrote in those distasteful Coretta jokes said that black men wearing suits is corny.

But in real life it’s quite the contrary :wow:

i think Kevin changed some shyt around ATL, I was getting approached by broads that I know don’t be fukking with squares in my shyt. I don’t even like wearing suits and it’s been a minute since I been to a real official function
