I appreciate the validity of his content—he and I don’t differ much at all insofar as relationship outlook—but he’s the wrong voice to impart the message. Women aren’t going to listen to a man being truthful. It come across as harsh and that gives women a way to outwardly reject what Samuels says.

It’d be more effective coming out the mouth of a well respected black woman with a helluva lot of ovaries who has the compassion to truly improve black relationships and not continue to rock with the rah rah black woman magic nonsense.

I believe that women will not listen to a woman giving the knowledge either. Plenty of women over the years have said the same thing Kevin does and they for the most part got shouted down. The ones who will not listen to Kevin will not listen to a woman say it either in my opinion

The new gen only want jobs that satisfy their passion. They don’t believe in working 2 jobs to fuel their dream job cause they think it’s a waste of time.

I'm a millennial and I do think it's a waste of time working multiple jobs if you already have a career. The extra free time I use go towards working on my craft so I can get paid more. I'm not picking up extra work some where that doesn't improve my skills.

Most other people I know that make 6 figures don't pick up meaningless jobs either. If they do it's extra hustles that revolve around their craft like consulting, teaching courses, Instagram, YouTube, starting a side business...
