That's 288,000 thousand out 16 million black men in the US., factor in 50% of black men have no kids, so that number cuts to 8 million.

If each of those 288,000 (18%) has at least 2 kids that's 576k kids being born per year out wedlock...out of 38million blacks people at 14% of total pop..

That's sounds pretty accurate

But if 80% of black men, how could 18% be correct..that's would mean 62% of black men that have kids are having them via marriages...I gotta do some more math

I don’t see how this isn’t believable.

My Grandfather had something like 20 kids (and counting). It was so bad that at one point one of my father’s half brothers almost did wind up (unknowingly) dating his half sister. I have an aunt who is a teenager, so it wasn’t even just back in the day.

I have another cousin who also has something like 15 kids (but to be fair, at least half are by white women).

And I know of guys who can count the number of kids they have on two hands.

I don’t think it’s too far fetched. Look at someone like Future. Granted he’s a celebrity but I think he would still have all of those kids if he weren’t.

This actually speaks to the fact that black men don't travel much, or venture off from the environment where they were born..
