Hence the reason I'll never take any paag's seriously. I know a ton of Asian dudes and even they tell me don't trust their women.

Exactly. The joy luck club showed the dissolution of a relationship between two ppl caught between two worlds: traditional Chinese and yuppies. I didn't really feel her pain or nothing, lol, i just took it as a potential bad outcome and tucked some things away, like, even modern men look for tradition in their wives. Makes sense bc women transmit culture.
Memoirs of a geisha taught me the seriousness of pleasing a man from a different angle. I learned they had whole schools and economies based on this. We don't do that here, ofc, so i sought it out for my own continuing education after reading the book. But Americans prize women for different things. Flower arranging wouldn't get me too far socially here, but more useful arts i pursued included ceramics (im kinda good), a working knowledge of classical western art (not contemporary), etc. It adds interest and makes you memorable. I also made a point to read up on the sexual arts.
I had good elements and some prior knowledge, but memoirs helped me shape them into a cohesive, presentable package.

A combination of a lot of these. Societal expectations, young men (hell men in general) are expected to work a lot of overtime (which they are not paid for) and generally don't make enough to support a family until they get older.

The older men are overworked, unappreciated and are expected to eat this and not complain. The young men are like fukk that, I'm gonna have fun and play video games.
