Additionally why vets are so dang important.

If dude had maybe someone else instead of John Wall throwing him under the bus and Christian Wood being a goof, maybe dude would have learned to be more accountable. I think of what Gil was saying in his recent episode about why the vet or two he mentioned were critical to him and it went to shyt when they left.

I blame KPJ above all, so don't get me wrong, but dude did have some real shytty circumstances before the league and in it. A lot of people cleaned up their act because of good veteran leadership. Houston has had none of that outside of coaching, but that isn't always enough if you have enabling players.

It sucks because he was like a big brother to Jalen and Sengun specifically along with some of the others so I thought that'd give him some exposure to leadership, but dude didn't have good guidance himself and probably was trying to navigate everything out on the fly.
Man vets not saving every knuckle head this dude has something innately wrong with him

John Lucas was the assistant coach of the rockets and this girls god father and he STILL does this. The same John Lucas he tried to fight just a year or two ago in Houston when he left a game at half time because he got benched.

You think if Jeff Green played with this kid he would have acted more maturely?
KPJ has played with Kevin Love, Kelly Olynk, Avery Bradley, Brandon Knight, Andre Drummond, DJ Augustin, and Larry Nance Jr. All pretty solid lockerroom guys and vets by name.

Exactly. Mike Conley (shout-out to Mike) ain't telling him shyt.

Difference between KPJ and Miles is Miles never had an outright damning history of this behavior. KPJ has been by all accounts a hot head who has had dozens of incidents since he got to the league where he is behaving inappropriately and aggressive. Bridges ain’t shyt for what he did but it was more so isolated vs KPJ can’t get right no matter what.

The major difference is that Miles is a much better player teams are willing to take a chance on regardless of the fukkery. If you're good enough you'll play.

I think they both on paper are talented but the difference is legit Miles didn’t start having issues until 2021. Everything blew up after that. He’s since been quiet and not repeated that behavior. That same summer he threw a mouthpiece that hit a girl after they lost the play in and he posted a picture with what could’ve been lean in a cup. Before that year Bridges was by all accounts a good kid. Not soft but just low key. He starts rapping, possibly drugs, and he beat his baby mother. Heinous shyt but something that came out of nowhere.

KPJ rookie year he tried to fight coaches over a LOCKER…

There’s no difference in some people’s eyes as domestic violence is domestic violence even if it was a “one off thing”, which hopefully none of us believe it was.

The league was already going to have an issue bringing Bridges back without addressing the matter even before this situation came up and now it’s going to make it worse.

I think you guys are missing the part where I specifically said "I blame KPJ above all".

Life doesn't happen in a vacuum though.

I don’t know this guy personally but clearly he has several major issues: anger management, immaturity, ADHD and impulse control, narcissism and probably borderline personality disorder. Add unlimited money and maybe some recreational drugs…and here we are.
Man needs medical therapy and some sit down time.

What vet was gonna follow him around in the offseason to make sure he didn’t fukk up?
