I heard the rockets can void out his deal as part of the NBA's DV policy.

is this true?
His contract wasn't fully guaranteed and was structured around incentives. Had things like games played by certain dates in there. He's done and he's not seeing the bulk of the money on that contract.

This is probably the worst possible scenario for the league and Miles Bridges as this situation is going to fuel even more controversy when he steps back on the court eventhough his wife reccanted and they levied a suspension against him.

makes sense for her to recant. if he can't get on the court, that fukks up her bag whether she stays with him or not.

The 718
eh Just a guess.

Her sibling has a history of violence and was arrested for sending her man to the hospital.

Shorty is now involved in a nasty altercation with her man which also ended in violence. God knows what else happened behind the scenes. Now her sibling is openly threatening to have dude maimed and or killed.

Do the math. :francis:They were probably raised in a household where chaos was the norm and verbal conflict resolution wasn't really a thing.
The fukk her sister got to do with her?

You win 50 million dollars, but your mom need 49 million for a hard transplant, what do you do?
He won't but he should be sitting for a few years if the reports are true. He literally could've killed her.

He's been beating on this chick for a while now so this isn't even a mistake or anything

Miles Bridges shouldn't even be in the League either for that matter.

Additionally why vets are so dang important.

If dude had maybe someone else instead of John Wall throwing him under the bus and Christian Wood being a goof, maybe dude would have learned to be more accountable. I think of what Gil was saying in his recent episode about why the vet or two he mentioned were critical to him and it went to shyt when they left.

I blame KPJ above all, so don't get me wrong, but dude did have some real shytty circumstances before the league and in it. A lot of people cleaned up their act because of good veteran leadership. Houston has had none of that outside of coaching, but that isn't always enough if you have enabling players.

It sucks because he was like a big brother to Jalen and Sengun specifically along with some of the others so I thought that'd give him some exposure to leadership, but dude didn't have good guidance himself and probably was trying to navigate everything out on the fly.

Nonsense. Teams don't need past been players on their rosters just because a few violent knuckleheads need guidance. Odds are, the old heads will get tuned out anyways.

The vast majority of young players are well adjusted and behave.

Plus, what's to say the vets don't act up themselves? Looking at you Draymond.

It's cuz too many people are hung up on timelines. Oh you can't sign him, Your best player's 20. He's 35. He doesn't fit. Or, those vets are latching on with other vet teams tryna win a ring. If that vet is halfway decent, trade him for more assets.

Difference between KPJ and Miles is Miles never had an outright damning history of this behavior. KPJ has been by all accounts a hot head who has had dozens of incidents since he got to the league where he is behaving inappropriately and aggressive. Bridges ain’t shyt for what he did but it was more so isolated vs KPJ can’t get right no matter what.
