The only time I've seen a bathroom with a key was for gas stations with detached bathrooms, meaning for the public you go outside the building over to where the bathroom is and since they don't want transients sleeping in them or random people fukking or doing drugs, they are locked which require you to get a key.
These are restaurants and commercial establishments. Even in mom and pop restaurants that literally have 1 toilet and sink for men and 1 separate toilet and sink for females I've found them to just allow you to walk in, no key.
Maybe because it violates my personal norm, I know I wouldn't go to a place that is uptight about their bathrooms.

Boycotting is pointless if you give in and start buying starbucks again after a week. Which I know nikkas are going to do anyway.
There are plenty of strong minded blak folks like myself that could easily and consistently boycott Starbucks.

1.Starbucks is NOT a franchise.
The stores are ran by corporate.
The inside of the stores may look different, but its still a corporate store.
Only exceptions are for Starbucks licensing carts/kiosks/drink stations and certain foreign locations.
2. Starbucks usually sets up their interior to encourage lounging/loitering. I rarely go to Starbucks, but there are plenty of people in there just to suck up the wifi.
3. Corporate needs to fire the manager on duty. Otherwise their apology is B'S.
4. And yes, depending on location, plenty if black folks go to Starbucks. (I prefer McDonald's)

Don't go to any business that doesn't want you there ....call it a boycott or whatever you want but that's just common sense . It's been plenty of places that I was going to go to but heard how they treat black people and I decided to never go there. I live in Texas. There's places down here that literally no blacks go to. Why would we even want to is the real question?
