Truth be told though, Kevin Hart is a C level comedian. He forces jokes and the fact that he has a team writing with him is discouraging to say the least. His work ethic is a major part of his success, he found his audience and worked his ass off to get to where he is today. I know a lot of people don't factor that stuff in, but it's incredibly important when you are trying to build a brand and Kevin Hart has done that masterfully.

Also, Mike Epps? Really breh? He isn't a great comedian either, so I am not sure where he thinks he can go ahead and shyt on Hart like that. In spite of me not liking Kevin Hart's material, I AT THE VERY LEAST understand why he is famous. Mike Epps is best known for his supporting roles in Friday, Hangover, and Resident Evil

The Richard Pryor piece should help him get the exposure he wants though...it is up to him after that to stay in the spotlight like Kevin Hart has done all these years.

Katt Williams is a funny nikka but he doesnt cross over and reach larger audiences.

Personally I love Katt.. but when is he coming to my city ? Shyt I would go back home for a show if he played in the fukkin LINC !! (got my tickets to Kevin's new shyt tho coming here in May can't wait)

People have unrealistic expectations for comedians like every time you see them they are supposed to make you cry laughing

Not just Kevin Hard, even Chris Rock openly and proudly admits that he has writers like Louis CK and others help him write and give him suggestions. Now if I heard a nikka had a "team" of writers that would sound very weak to me. But if I heard a nikka rolls with his 2 homies who been down him with for 10-20 years, and they aint even professionals or have their own shine as gifted comedians, that's something completely different.

I thought his first 2 were pretty funny, but his last 2 were kind of weak. But it's like now nikkas saying he aint never had a good standup or something. But when his 1st shyts dropped, I remember him getting mostly praise on the forums for them.

Here's the thing...

For me personally... I really don't care if Kevin has a team so long as he is feeding his brehs and creating opportunities for everybody to come up
and everybody is good with it.

I've seen Kevin and to me he was a little funnier back in the day when he was small time

All of those guys who Kev was talking to before he went on are stand up comics I've seen all their shows.. a few of them are funnier than Kevin so I could see how they could be passing him jokes
or helping him perfect his set.

At the end of the day they are all grown men so if anybody had a problem and it became a real thing. We would and will know about it.

Until that day.... I'm good. It's just comedy. Why do nikkas get mad and become haters at a nikka that tries to make you laugh...smh
