They are saying writers as if they hand him a script and he just recites shyt which isn't true as far as I know and they have a problem with him utilizing writers how he does then I never saw a Aries special and while mike epps is funny I've seen two specials when he would be rambling at certain points like he was making stuff up on the spot and one when he spent a good portion of it heckling the crowd instead of telling jokes which I hated . He could use some tightening of his material

Nah, what Epps was saying was writers didn't want to "waste" jokes on other comedians because they didn't think they were good enough. He's saying all the hot writers want to save their stuff for the big acts.

I'm not saying this as a Mike Epps or Aries Spears fan. Personally, I prefer Kevin Hart's appearance in 40 Year Old Virgin to just about anything Aries Spears has ever done, and possibly Mike Epps too. Before someone starts calling me a 'hater' or some dumb shyt.

This is so retarded because pretty much ALL COMEDIANS have people that write some of their jokes. Keenan did some of Eddie Murphy Raw. Dave Chappell was corny as hell before he got on the Chapelle show. The writers like Paul Mooney and others made him funny as hell.

Spears I never thought was really that funny. He is booty for the most part. Just hatin. Epps is HORRIBLE in stand up. I mean if he is not in a movie, you are wasting your money. So I guess he is jealous of Hart because his stand up and delivery is light years better than Epps. I would take Epps over Hart in movies though.

Exactly all the great ones have a writer. You have to. Comedy is hard as hell. It's not standing up there for damn near an hour. Mooney was a great writer. So was Keenan Ivory Wayans. They had more talent I think with writing. Their stand ups are meh.
