BREAKING: Kevin Durant’s close friend predicts with near-certainty where Durant will play next year

The most sought after free agent this summer seems to have already made his mind up before teams and players can begin discussing contracts on July 1st. According to Marc Spears of The Undefeated, Kevin Durant is expected to re-sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder, at least for another year.

Don’t stress too hard, Thunder fans. Yes, Durant, 27, is the star of this year’s NBA free agency reality show. But barring an incredible sales job, several friends and business colleagues close to the 2014 NBA MVP expect him to return to Oklahoma City for at least another year.

“His decision is 90 percent made. It would take an amazing sales pitch to change it,” said one of Durant’s longtime friends.

Another Durant colleague said, “It’s going to take some sweet-talking to get him to pass up all the money he can get by staying in OKC.”

ya'll are resigning Barnes if Durant stays right? so this is his one chance to jump on the GS gravy train or he's stuck in Okc
Basically, unless Barnes is trade-able next summer. They should tell him its his one chance to jump on the gravy train.

He's staying in OKC never thought otherwise....it's not like he has to commit long term so he's going to sign a 1 year deal with OKC.....next summer we'll see what's really up as he'll be looking to sign a longer deal and Westbrook will be a free agent.
