Let me play devil's advocate for a second..true or false in ur opinion. KD on GS is the 1st option and Steph becomes the sidekick.
Steph averaged 30 ppg last season and has more MVP'S than KD. With that being said I think he would become the sidekick just to appease KD like Wade did.

Took out the Thunder and re-ordered that for you champ. Ya'll are dead last, by far. You meet after the Spurs doggy, its just a courtesy meeting. Boston doesn't have the attractive assets and Ainge doesn't have the charisma to pull off the coup.

Stevens does though

As far as the heat go, they are treating wade like shyt. He brought them three championships and they are still low balling him. They traded mike miller to save money in a championship year. That shyt looks bad on them. You can't deny that.

You have the bosh situation, he clearly can't be trusted to play 70 games next season based on his last two... Even if the heat can convince him to retire, they still take a huge cap hit for his contract this season. So you add Durant and then what?

I don't see him going to him going to Boston either, but they do have assets. They just drafted Jaylen Brown. They have perfect compliment of role players like Bradley and Crowder. Sparkplug scorer IT.

and those Nets picks, specifically 2017, are fukking golden. That Nets 2017 pick is a likely a franchise player if Boston hangs on to it.

Oh, and a terrific young coach.

Boston has some shyt going for them.

Go to bad weather Boston with an inferior roster to the Cavs? Not a good basketball decision imo.

The problem I see is Durant is looking to compete for a title right away. Bradley, Crowder, a rookie, and future picks isn't going to contend next year

We are gonna strike out on durant and then the entire city off boston will go from hating Dwight Howard to "well we gotta spend this cap space on somebody at least!!" and we will sign Dwight for two years 50 million

Great honest answer. I agree, like a 1a/1b situation, even more so than Lebron and Wade cause Steph is really just now entering his prime, but due to KD's size he's just too versatile a scorer to take a backseat to Curry, but it would be terrifying to see. Imagine KD going into one of his little passive streaks only for Curry to drop 15 in 2 minutes and not only do they not even lose a step, they go on a 15-2 run. I pretty much hate the Warriors but damn it would be fun to watch.

Cavs would have to add Melo or Jimmy Butler or someone along those lines to keep up.

Gun to my head, it's okc

Can't picture him going to the Warriors, clippers, or heat at all
Heat and Clippers aren't happening. They'd have to move too much. It's gonna be OKC, but GS is the wild card. He would fit in perfectly there.

If Boston had a legit #2 option, they'd be viable. As it stands, they have no shot. He's not leaving Russell Westbrook to go play with Marcus Smart. :mjlol:

It wouldn't be just durant though... They would have cap space to sign another max guy, plus the Brooklyn picks they could throw in a trade for pretty much anybody in the league outside the top 10-15 guys

If he goes to golden state, he's gonna become the most hated player in the league.

I doubt he's really going to have weather be a deal breaker, lol. If he does leave, he'll want to go to a team that will compete for a title, and probably whichever infrastructure he feels he can trust the best in terms of comfortability with coaches and front office

If he has patience, which he may not, Boston could bloom into something special in 2-3 years

Again, that Nets pick is a franchise player waiting to happen

In all seriousness, what does Miami have to offer them? What is their future? Their situation with bosh? I just don't see this big pitch they can give durant to win him over. He doesn't seem the type to let the city have anything to do with his decision.

No chance. He's not a polarizing individual.

If he was 23, he could wait around. He'd be a fool to do that at this stage of his career.
