even if it is the case that he trying to save Lacob money, Lacob seems to be going hard for KD in his investment circles, putting him around the right people. seems like a mutually beneficial relationship imo, especially if KD reups and some from these investments
Thats really the least he could do.

"KD, sacrifice 14 million dollars of your own money to save me (a billionaire) 25 million while I build the greatest team ever and I'll introduce you to my friends"...mutually beneficial

5 key financial details about why Kevin Durant took $6M less than expected in free agency

I mean it aint like Lacob forced dude to take a paycut, and its obvious there are some under the table dealings going on. but whatever, it is what it is. his money.

KD should have taken the money...fukk saving this cac anything. Same thing we got on Dirk about...that he's getting a "under the table" deal with Mark Cuban.:mjlol:

If the MJ the GOAT got screwed by the owner (Waashington Wizards) what makes you think these other nikkas got it better...:gucci:

This nikka about to get finessed by his cac agent and this fakkit owner...he couldn't negotiate and impose enough of his power to management that Harden was off-limits, but he gonna turn into Zuckerberg with those Jews and chinks in SF? :pachaha:

I'm not caping for nothing. Any team would tool up the way we did it they could. The Spurs tried to sign KD right after signing LMA. They tried to stack the deck too.

Nobody's talking about the Warriors front office trying to improve the team/stack the deck, they're clowning KD for joining a 73 win team he choked against. That and Draymond (biggest trash talker in the league) begging Durant to come play with them while sitting in the parking lot after game 7. :manny:

I DONT DOUBT YOUR SOLIDARITY, BUT U GUNA BE BEYOND FED UP AFTER 5 STRAIGHT LOTTERY YEARS WHEN RUS BOUNCES.
It takes a VERY bad gm to be in 5 straight lottery. If you're tanking correctly you'll be successful. that's if he leaves

This idea that Durant, one of the biggest sports figures in the world needed Joe Lacob to make introductions in the tech world is ridiculous.:what:
its not about need, its about ease of access. It dont matter how big you are, especially as an african american...connections are extremely helpful. you just dont break into industries cause you have money and youre a big sports figure. doesnt work like that (see kanye trying to break in the fashion industry). these are billionaires that dont view millionaires as their peers and are reluctant to let anyone in their power circle.

Billionaires arent impressed by millionaires. Same way the higher ups in the fashion world didnt take Kanye seriously.

You are naive if you dont think a billionaire like Lacob, doesnt have connections that KD would dream of.
