Bron stans probably don't lack awareness, they just recognize that the option of "Bring the team I join a ring before leaving" is something that would have to show up on that menu for it to make sense for Bron. :hubie:

KD out here trying to jump to yet another team with an incredible top tier season record and he didn't do shyt in Brooklyn but help them go from contender to rebuilding in no time.
Yall are funny. The fact that you used "incredible top tier season record" says it all. Already getting them excuses ready.

The reality is the suns were exposed in the playoffs and the Nets had better odds of winning a championship than the suns did going into the offseason.

The narrativee that KD is taking the easy way out doesn't work when the team he is leaving would have been better than the team he is going to considering the fact they're going to lose pieces trading for him.

KD/Kyrie/Simmons/Harris >>>Kd/ CP3/Booker/

I find this all to be nuts, I don’t blame Tsai and Marks for putting their foot down, but this was doomsday for the Nets for everything they wanted to be. If this ends with Ayton and Simmons being the stars of the Nets, then you’re looking at 2 9 figure guys who nobody would care to acknowledge on a Q train out of Barclays. It’s just an uninspiring duo that nobody will care about.

This will end with the Nets starting over and only the true diehards caring, but maybe it’s supposed to be like this for Nets fans. They should never regret going for it. It just didn’t work this time, but the Nets didn’t do a ton wrong outside of letting KD and Kyrie DP the franchise.

It actually does work. He’s been around a winning culture in GS, and understands what it takes to win a championship based on that experience. He has intimate knowledge of his current team. Despite being talented, there’s major issues trying to make a run with guys like Simmons and Irving. The culture that has been created in Brooklyn isn’t conducive to winning a championship, which he probably played a role in.

Brooklyn has become a clown show. I just think he wants to get back to basketball, and not the extra stuff that comes with being teammates with these guys.

Mind blowing. A sensible take with actual logic and nuance rather than regurgitated, low frequency, barbershop talk.

As a basketball fan from NYC, I'm so disappointed by this news :mjcry: To make things worst, KD wants to be traded to a West Coast team so east coast brehs won't be able to regularly watch his games :mjcry:

If KD wants to go to another team go to Miami :ld: Then I'd still be able to reguarly watch his games :ahh: On the plus side if he goes to PHX CP3 chances of getting a ring get that much higher :wow: That potential Suns - Warriors playoff series though :whoo:

I'm just rambling at this point lol :drunk:
This is the fukkin problem. Too many people are concerned with what "KD wants". How you concerned with giving him what he wants when he's literally like "Fukk you I wanna go play somewhere else"?

I don't think it's that deep. Kd came to Brooklyn to play with kyrie and the front office refused to extend kyrie beyond this year. I think it's that simple, that is what's been reported the last few weeks. Kd gave them an ultimatum and they made their choice. Now he making his.

Negative. Lost in all his shenanigans, Kyrie hasnt really been a winning player since he left Cleveland. He’s not Westbrook status, but its gone under the radar what he actually brings to winning games. 1-The Boston fiasco looks even worse considering they just made the finals w/out him. 2-The vax mandate is hiding the fact them nggas was 100% healthy and got swept and he was a non factor.

Booker > Kyrie, and an aged CP3 > even the best of Ben Simmons. And at this point more than ever, you CANT overlook intangibles. Kyrie-Ben-and KD is a comically bad fit personality wise, while cp3 would be the perfect leader KD needs

Cp3-Booker-Crowder-KD-FA big

Bench: Payne, Shamet, Craig, Saric

And they’ll be the ‘it’ team for ring chasing vets to fill holes

That suns roster trash. Kd need to come to Miami. We’ve got plenty of depth

Bruh without superstar players they weren’t going anywhere. They had KD and Kyrie and fukked it up. You can try and blame the players all you want but that was their best shot at winning anything. D Angelo Russell and Spencer Dinwiddie being your best players gets you nowhere, I tdon’t care what coach you have. And if they’re a middling playoff team then there goes their hope of drafting a superstar to build around.

KD and Kyrie gave them their best shot. But now they’re going to trade them and spend the next 4 years they could have spent building around superstar/star players, trying to replace them. Total fail no matter how you slice it. Having a superstar/star tandem is better than hoping young players figure it out. Especially when those young players barely showed star potential if that... They blew this and won’t recover from it:..
The NETS put the right pieces together for a championship run. They didn't fukk up. Kryie fumbled the ring. All Kyrie had to do was take the damn vaccine. Harden would still be a NET if Kyrie was serious in winning a title.
