Rockets won.

In 1-2 years they can potentially can be a play-off team getting top 5 lottery picks for 3-4 years from Brooklyn.

West is going to be stacked af if KD lands on Phoenix and Kyrie in LA.

Meh...

Even Philly offering a trade? Didn't KD and Harden split up cause they were tired of each other. Or he left Brooklyn strictly cause of Kyrie?

Nets would be retarded not to demand an all-star return for KD. Which means none of the teams are gonna turn into clear favorites to win it all with KD. The Heat would have to get rid of either Jimmy or Bam. They can't trade Bam right now and Jimmy teaming up with Bum Simmons is impossible.

Phoenix don't have a great offer. Ayton and Cam + fillers is not enough. They won't trade Booker.

Can swap unprotected first round picks:
2023
2025
2027
Basically Houston takes whoever has the higher pick each year.

Outright has Brooklyn's unprotected first round picks these years:
2024
2026

I don't think it's that deep. Kd came to Brooklyn to play with kyrie and the front office refused to extend kyrie beyond this year. I think it's that simple, that is what's been reported the last few weeks. Kd gave them an ultimatum and they made their choice. Now he making his.

The man said himself he stayed completely out of those negotiations, which is completely within his character. One can speculate whether he chose to request a trade, because he did or didn’t want to continue to play with Irving.

It’s a delicate situation, because Kyrie is his friend, and KD is a non confrontational dude.

However, based on his actions, he’s looking to put himself in the best basketball position possible. Also, if he’s no longer comfortable in his current situation, he leaves.

makes kd look soft imo. bailing out instead of bossing up. done it three times now. going from okc to gs after getting embarrassed, leaving gs when his feelings got hurt, now bailing on bk cause he scared or can't boss up. dude is an awesome player, but got a emo legacy.
