im not, durant and kyrie were doing way too much, the players will pay for it in the next cba

funny enough Windhorst and other insiders said owners wouldnt try to evoke or go hard in the next CBA because everyone is making very good money. Simmons and 76ers coming to a settlement so quickly always shows how quick they are willing to resolve issues. I dont think anything major is going to happen in the next CBA but Lacob raising alot of hell lbecause he cant keep players that he drafted

What are you even talking about? Either the Nets get the greatest haul for a player ever or they get Kevin Durant

They got Kevin Durant :heh:

They're so dumb :heh:

Must be a Suns fan or a Lakers fan that swore Kyrie was coming to save their down and out asses :umad:
Ok... So keep Kevin Durant and run it back then :heh:
Idk why people are blaming the gobert trade when this wasn’t gonna happen anyway

How does the gobert trade have anything to do with the nets being complete dumbazzes & being delusional? Nets thought they were suge knight out this bytch :heh:
without that trade, the offers we saw for KD and Mitchell look reasonable on their own. When someone else gets a crazy offer or some new deal, what you were looking at doesn’t look so good anymore.

this is the main thing i wanna see in the next CBA

drafting a championship core is extremely rare. and then drafting guys like Poole and Looney to complement them even further is even rarer. no reason they should be penalized for it

KD just wanted Kyrie re-signed. That's all. He's looking out for his homie. Good. They're a packaged deal Nets. You knew what you were getting into when they joined. Run it back.

The offers in the beginning wasn’t gonna get done for Durant & Mitchell idk about his case.

But we say that because they didn’t get that offer first. Ainge is bullish about getting more than 5 1’s because he managed to do so already with someone else. Without that, 4-5 firsts for Mitchell even with light protections looks appealing. Now if he takes less than 5 he doesn’t look like he’s doing his job correctly.

If it was that easy, then Philly would have tried that years ago whenever Embiid would get injured in the playoffs.
He played center in a playoff game Embiid missed in 2021 and scored 19, 11, and 10. He's played 4 playoff games in his career without Embiid and averaged 23 PPG and 11 APG. Granted, he didn't play center in all four of those games. The 76ers never had adequate spacing because Embiid and Ben (and even Tobias) like to operate on the same parts of the floor.. Embiid was forced to play on the perimeter more to the detriment of his game while Ben would hang in the dunkers spot. The fit was just clunky.

The Nets are almost a perfect fit for Ben. The shooting from KD, Kyrie, Seth, Harris, Mills, Warren allows him to play in a modified Draymond role with more juice as a penetrator and paint scorer. He's still gonna have his struggles in the postseason and teams won't guard him on the perimeter but that environment is so much better for him than Philly's. The problem is he's going to have to be play most of his minutes at center because the spacing is too poor with him and another traditional center.

Who says that he’s willing to do that when he’s made it clear on more than one occasion that he wants to run the point? You’d be literally neutralizing one of the best aspects of his game because he won’t even try to shoot and he’s a poor FT shooter. Brooklyn isn’t going to change that notion.

He could operate as both a playmaker or play-finisher on offense and a center on defense, similar to draymond. The offense is going to be more dynamic with him at the 5, the question is whether the defense can hold up. They can't get away with him at center against the 76ers or Bucks. Those are the type of series where he'll struggle.

His lack of shooting is more of an issue when he's playing with other bigs on the floor. If he's the center and playing in a four out offense, he can get downhill and spray the ball to shooters or screen and roll.

Lmao
This doesn’t mean a damn thing. JB could be playing in Afghanistan and he’ll help out the locals and call it his community. He just a solid dude

And he’ll also leave $50 million on the table to sign as a free agent elsewhere(a supermax can only be offered by a team that drafted a player or traded for him in his first four seasons.) the only team that can offer him a Super Max deal is Boston, all he needs to do is make one of the 3 all NBA teams in the next 2 years. The CBA is made for your original team to be able to offer you more money than anyone else. That also does not mean a damn thing.

So yeah, he hates Boston so much he’ll walk away from $50 million :russ:ask Bradley Beal and Dame why they re-signed with Washington and Portland.
