this is the main thing i wanna see in the next CBA

drafting a championship core is extremely rare. and then drafting guys like Poole and Looney to complement them even further is even rarer. no reason they should be penalized for it
Why would other teams care to change that if it isn’t benefiting them as well?

It feels like the Nets just kicked the can down the road. It's just hard to see this team staying together long term. There's no leadership. It's just some stars focused on themselves on and off the court.

Ben Simmons may get a headache and sit out.

Kyrie's the type to miss some games because he has to go to the Philippines to save the habitat.

KD's scrolling through his phone right now looking at edits of himself in other teams jerseys.

That's not even counting the injury issues with these guys. The Nets are just delaying the inevitable trying to keep this together.

Because it stands to help them too. The grizzlies may have a situation like this
Keyword is "may". The majority of other teams haven't been the situation for them to actually care enough to have it changed. In their mind, the current structure is helping them by breaking up a contender and for other teams, the money that they get from the luxury tax payments.

Seems like Nash is not respected by Kyrie and Durant so will be interesting to see if he can force Simmons to do what the team needs.
Simmons really is in his own world and has demonstrated he’s willing to go to the extreme to do things his way regardless how it makes him look or how better players on his team feel. So I’m not sure Nash, Kyrie or even Durant will be able to make dude do anything

All Ben Simmons has to do is play

He doesn’t shoot the ball so I don’t know what you mean by forcing him to do what the team needs

He plays like a role player
All the team needs for him to do is just play :russ:

Requesting a trade is regular in all sports. He told them in private then kept it pushing with his life. He didn’t say a single word in public in a negative way.
It's not after just signing a contract That's why the Nets went public, because it's not a regular thing.
