You sure? this is the energy that ruins seasons before they start.

You don’t want the "trade demand" floating into training camp or the regular season.

If I'm Tsai, I fire Nash, tell Marks, KD & Kyrie to find a coach they can all agree on and get ready for the season. That’s a pipe dream, because Tsai might let his ego run and decide to trade KD/Kai and keep Marks/Nash

Like what? Deandre?
And Harden and simply not vocalizing what he really wants when he is in position to do just that.

Kyrie if nothing else at least dug deep in his convictions about the team. He was dead wrong (especially about the coach). You got Kyrie like "coaches? :childplease" while KD might have wanted Lue. They're not reading the same book, let alone on the same page.

I said it when this whole thing went down. The longer they hold those two, the more volatile this gets and the more value they lose for them. The best time to trade them was months ago, the next best time is right now.

Those two are absolutely going to play hardball. Kyrie already showed you that. They'd easy coast the season and be a big disruption while trolling.

Best thing to do right now is unload them for draft packages and built for the future. Basically do what the Rockets did to them. They had the window, they took their shot, got close but time to move to the next era. Too many incredible draft pieces coming up from all over the world to stress about these players.

Don't want to shell them out for borderline stars/good players and have mediocre years. May as well tank and see if you can get good upcoming young players because those guys are all older and chances are whatever window they go into won't last for another 3 years.

So you want him to be more assertive. That’s different than being a bad GM. He simply wants to do nothing but hoop. I highly doubt he pushes them to move for Harden. He just wasn’t opposed.

It feels like it's not gonna end any other way besides this bursting into flames, so whether this heads into training camp into isn't gonna destroy the team more than it has.

If they trade KD and/or Irving, the next few seasons are gonna go to hell.

If they don't, this season will be filled with hell, though their talent alone will keep them in it.

and I'd say this, if I'm Joe Tsai, I'm paying Jacque Vaughn way too much money to be the associate HC, so if Nash gets fired, Vaughn is gonna be the interim and KD/Kyrie gotta deal with it. If Marks goes, the interim GM might as well be in-house, because nobody is gonna sign up to right that ship unless they're getting LIV Golf money.

Nobody is firing a GM and a HC this late in the off-season. KD knows this. He's basically saying "Get me the fukk outta here"

And he basically just nuked whatever leverage the Nets had :francis:
